Virgin Atlantic Airbus A350-1041 | London Heathrow to Los Angeles, LAX

Back across the Atlantic on the scenic route to LA with one of my favourite airlines, Virgin. Yet another great flight with them, the crew onboard were absolutely fantastic!
The only unfortunate thing is that we start the journey with a 2 hour delay due to a technical issue needing resolved. The crew did their absolute best to compensate the delay by serving drinks to customers and allowing everyone to use the IFE before take off. Once we pushed back we headed for 27L and made a north westerly departure out of Britain and across the North Atlantic. Some fantastic views along the way of Greenland, Northern Canada and the Rockies!
The crew on Virgin are very attentive, much more than that of your average flag carrier. We started with a round of drinks and a light pre meal snack, served about 30 mins after take off. 30 mins later the crew came round with meals, choices included BBQ Chicken or Mac 'n' Cheese. After that they then served another round of drinks! After 4 hours of flying we were then served ice lollies and a toasted sandwich. They then served another round of drinks shortly after. 90 mins before landing the crew then came round once more with an offering of Afternoon Tea, which I have had before and it is very nice!
Overall a great trip with Virgin Atlantic and I can't reiterate how much more I prefer them to flying with BA!

Great vid! Is it Virgin SOPs for the A350 to single engine taxi then extend flaps & slats after the second engine is started? Seen it on a couple of Virgin A350 videos now
