- In this video, I cover all of the new content added to a mod for Star Wars Battlefront 2, Battlefront Plus Version 6. This new update to the mod adds a ton of new content for Battlefront 2 players to enjoy, even after the official development of the game has concluded. This community-made mod adds new heroes such as commander cody and Maz Kanata to Star Wars Battlefront 2 with custom abilities, starcards, and appearances for players to use in the game! In addition, version 6 of Battlefront Plus also adds new reinforcements for the galactic republic, the separatist alliance, and the first order. The new reinforcement includes the clone sharpshooter, the aqua droid, and the new guavian security for the first order. All of these new heroes and reinforcements for Star Wars Battlefront 2 also include new starcards and appearances for even more customization and changes in gameplay! It always disappoints me that none of these can be used with the console versions. There's a massive group of people who will never be able to use these mods

I was the dev that did the Jetpack FX and grenade chargeup bar UI for Maz, really glad you enjoyed them! I originally wanted to go all purple for maz's jetpack but having both the orange and the purple looked so much cooler

Also quick note about the end of the video, there are actually 3 mods that have Instant Action alternatives, the 3rd of which is New Appearances - Heroes. So far, this adds 10 new skins for various vanilla heroes, from jokey ones like Chewbacca with a Stormtrooper Helmet as seen in Lego Star Wars and Bossk in a tuxedo from Robot Chicken, to long-desired ones such as Battle Damaged Vader and Mandalore Maul. For anyone wondering too about Cody's appearances, he's got his classic Phase 1 and 2 appearances, a Phase 1 w/ mounted flashlights, and the 2003-inspired skin shown off here.
Anyways, fun video; it's always a joy seeing people's excited reactions to all the new stuff we've made. With all the time and effort that goes into the content we develop, it's immensely satisfying to witness how it entertains others, as I'm sure you can well relate.
This makes me miss the Kyber times so much its unreal. Playing these mods online with other bf2 fans was an absolute blast. The community was so friendly and welcoming, and even with no anticheat whatsoever, no one ever tried hacking. We were there to have fun. Such a pity Kyber is long dead now

I've been play BF2 on ps5 for a while now, had it on release for the ps4. About a year or two ago I got a handme down pc and it stopped working. This mod makes me want to fix it and run up some BF2 modded because it truly is a masterpiece

So proud of the battlefront community for bringing these cool ass characters too bad EA was lazy asf and canceled this game it could of been so much more cooler.
These mods look so great, but I've tried several times to load just simple mods and have never got any of them to work in the game. It's frustrating to me that I can't use any of them.

Hello, i am trying to play this mod, but every time i launch the game with it my game just tells me that I should use the kyber private servers and i don't have access to any game modes. is it possible to play instant action with this mod or am I indeed forced to play online? Thanks for your help.

Should I grab this mod or Battlefront 2022 mod? I'm not quite sure which to go with.
Best suggestion I can give is to check out both and find out for yourself! They can't be used at the same time, but you can of course switch between playing one or the other whenever you want.

@@cylesmith3651 no. I tried booting up the game through frosty yesterday and once origin started you get softlocked with a pop up forcing you to install the god awful EA launcher which doesn’t work

What’s really sad about this is EA was too fucking dumb to realize that they had an IP and a title that had endless amounts of content handed to them. The Star Wars universe is so expansive and has a near endless amount of content for a game like BF2. Had they just taken the reinforcements, hero’s, skins, etc. shown in this video or previous ones and integrated it into a battle pass type system they’d STILL be making money hand over fist on this title, they didn’t even need BF3. At least not yet
