I whole heartedly validate and agree with the effectiveness of these methods for trend following/mean reversion strategies. An ensemble approach, as you mention, can work very well to normalize for market regime changes. When it comes to deploying these models, I would also recommend using the Kelley Criterion to influence position sizing. This will help any trader go a long way. Thanks for the video!
