Always professional and informative discussion! Planning to go with the MP 243’s. Problem with the wedges I have had is tjey seem to disappear sometimes from my bag. Yikes! Lost 4 of them over the past years.
I play everything Mizuno and love every club in my bag. Have the original St 190 driver and the MP 225 s. Chris does a wonderful job with explaining each and every Mizuno product. Great interview!
I have the STG-220 from 2022 and it's the best driver I've hd in my 35 years of playing. I'm a high launch player and high spin with 110-115 club speed. So I need to keep spin down and launch down to get some roll. I have this set to 7.5* with Hzrdous Black 6.0 shaft which puts me 2800-3000rpm and 17-20* launch. On simulator I was constantly 290-296 with roll out when everyone else in my group was hitting their drivers 250-256. I played the Taylormade R9 TP for 15 years cause of the adjustable weights and never hit anything else straighter or longer so stuck with it and just upgraded shafts. So once I seen the STG220 had 3 tracks to move weight I had to buy and now see the 2024 model just uses 2 tracks. This will be my club for the next 15 years now
Great review Chris...I don't know if Muzuno is changing the S 23 for 2024 but I bought a set of them and Love them for feel, and forgiviness, and looks...Thanks..
Last year I was fitted to and ordered a blended set. 3-5i 225, 6-7i 223, 8-PW 221. I ended up hating the 223. They had no 'feel.' Went back and ordered 5-7 in 221 so now I have 5-PW 221 and only 3-4 irons in 225. Yes, you read that right. I now have both 225 and 221 5-irons. The 221 feels better, I hit it better, and the 225 5-iron got pulled from the bag. But that 225 4-iron is a cannon! I'd be interested in a Fli-Hi 3-iron if Mizuno would do it in chrome. I can't abide black finish.
Hi Chris. If you happen to see this comment, any suggestion as to which of the T24 grinds is the closest grind to my favorite lob wedge ever, an MP Series 60-09? Thanks for posting this interview Mark and Jack.
@stevedietrich8936 @coolclubs - Man, that's throwing it back there, Steve! The MP series, back in the day didn't have a distinctive grind, but on thing it did feature was minimal camber. With that in mind, I'd look at the 60-10 (C Grind) to be the closest performer
@@christianvoshall3060hate to bother but would the 241 be similar to the MP-69? I recently got the JPX Tour looking for some forgiveness but I miss the smaller compact look of those MP blades. Looking at a 5-6-7 in 245 and 8-9-PW in 241. Would you suggest bending the 241 to match the lofts in the 245? Thanks for your time.
I had 2 mizuno drivers, then i brought an old TS3 and it easily out hits the Mizunos BUT the Mizuno ST190 was hitting a few more fairways, 30yds back though. I like the feel of the TS3 more.

Fabulous interview, Chris is the best spokesman.

Chris has so much knowledge about his products.
Absolutely love my Mizuno 223’s.

Excellent interview. Good info. Well Done
I'm an unashamed fan of Mizuno products and play their irons, 3 & 5 woods. Love them!
Fantastic interview. Thanks fellas

I did love Mizuno, until they changed the forging process 😢

Gotta say I would absolutely play an entire bag of Mizuno. The wedges are the most slept on no doubt. Playing the T22

We have sent Chris this message, hopefully he can get back to you soon.

Why would you want to hit a fli hi, when you could hit a high lofted fairway wood????
My son has the MP-25 and refuses to quit them. I think he's losing a lot of strokes by not keeping up with technology. He's a +1
