- NOTE: Permission was given to shoot onboard by ship's management. All footage was taken onboard a superyacht. People generally only see these yachts from a distance, from the outside. They are generally draped in secrecy as owners are very private. This hopefully gives you an idea of what it's like to sail/work onboard.

yep, in complete agreement with Robert Allen. I love your choices of camera POV and the fact you resisted the temptation to overdub static/slow-moving shots with music. I got a real sense of placid calm - your filming impressed the cool aesthetic of your environment on me.
Love the anchor chain sequences! Rarely, if ever, recorded ... well done. Anchoring was always a spectacular event aboard the ship on which I served in the 1970s, the USS Jason AR8, 15,000 tons and 530+ feet long.

That was really cool - so interesting to see behind the scenes and appreciate what it takes to get one of these yachts underway. I can't even begin to imagine how much the running costs would be for a vessel this size; just keeping all that chrome polished would take a small army! It was very well filmed too - that style made it a very personal experience so I felt like part of the crew! Thanx for sharing.

These guys make excellent money even the guy is a deckhand make screen earn good money I heard to make 3500 a month and the captain probably makes from $9,000 to $12,000 a month pretty good money this was done excellently I really wanted to see how these guys all work together as a team to talk to boat pull the anchor that's extremely good footage there

Looked up DBM 241. It is a Silba-class landing ship-minelayer. Wikipedia says its fate is "unknown." So much for that! Somewhere in Croatian waters... But then you jump to Greece. Keri. So you get around in this clip.
I looked it up in Janes , built for Yugoslavia, seems to have been neglected post civil war, two half sisters still serve in Croatia.

I own a 43 foot fiberglass houseboat and I got to tell ya it's always work to maintain and clean. You can clean it and the next day it looks like it's been a week. I can't afford to have someone do it, so I wear a lot of hats. There's no way I keep my boat as clean as this mega yacht. Not one spot of dry salt film on any bright-work, any wet spray wont be there long with that crew. CRAZY amount of labor and money spent.
That's because the boats water maker produces reverse osmosis water from sea water,this leaves zero water spotting after a wash down.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watermaker
Tip: white vinegar removes mineral build up as well as algae stains.

Kinda surprised by a few things...not wearing ear plugs during the anchoring, no floatation device while working over the side.... but overall a great video that shows the behind the scenes of the day to day underway routine.

She is powered by twin MTU 3,004 hp diesel engines. One of her exterior features includes a swimming pool located on the main aft deck. Royal Romance accommodates 14 guests and 22 crew members. She was delivered to her owner in July 2015. Royal Romance is not available for charter.

Reminds me of my time at sea, day's turn into weeks, with no land insight, it's like turning on the TV and staring at a snowy picture after awhile , sometimes you'd see a passing ship or some debris floating by and maybe we'd get to fan fire old ammunition off the side of the ship, other that that you ate, slept, stood your watch , and watched re-runs on CCTV. But this was before the internet and online porn, Ha,ha,ha !!!
