Nice job, Sam! Love the hidden storage!
Thanks so much, Bruce!
Hi Sam, this is a fantastic project & furniture piece for the home, I love using black paint on a base & contrasting it with a natural wooden top 🍻👍
Thank you!
Nice coffee table build!!
Hi Sam, beautiful coffee table, great work as always....tfs
Thank you so much!
Omg finally found a woman that loves furniture making like me. You inspire, thanks :**
😍😍😍
You really made a beautiful table. Thanks for sharing the techniques you're using.
Thank you for checking it out! 😊
Well done Sam...👍
Thanks, Robert!
Well done Dr. DIY!
Thanks, friend! 😁
Still here watching. Such another cool one!!! So much cool stuff going on, in this channel. Dirty Jersey out!!!
So stoked you stuck around and like my projects. Thanks for the support! 🙌🏼
@@diyhuntress Fo Sho!! The Best Coast has to stick together!!!
🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Awesome work Sam, it looks great! 😍👍👊
Thanks so much, Fred!
This is a brilliant, straight-forward design, I love it. Would there be any way to mount the sides to the table-top with the addition of some reinforcing beams of some sort, so that when they are open the table-top is extended?
Love this! Will be my next project.
Yess! That makes me so happy!
Great project!
Thanks so much! 😁
I love your Idea ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Great table 👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much, Gib!
Great vid
Thank you!
Great job
Thank you!
Hi Sam! Thank you for all the videos that you post. They are very inspiring. I can't wait to get started on my own projects. Side question: where did you get the couch from? I absolutely love it!
oisome!
Nice job!
Thanks so much!
This turned out great! I like how the base looks almost like metal, good color combo. Oh and I imagine Rick and Morty Monopoly must be pretty fun... 🛠
Thanks, friend! It’s pretty awesome - some may argue the coolest part of this project. 😂
Nice build!
Thanks so much!
Love your stuff! Do you think if I made this and didn't include the double bar support at the bottom it would have a problem being supported? Maybe just use 4-6 standalone legs? I would love this because our living room is super narrow. Every table we find is way too large but the reason for just legs underneath is because I LOVE to put my feet under the coffee table when we play games or when I eat in the living room.
Thanks so much, Amy! I don’t think you need that bottom bar! I would definitely suggest keeping the top one though to help keep the base sturdy. Hope this helps!
Hey Sam!
Had you thought about adding a small magnet to the center support beam and the hinged door so the concealed storage is more securely hidden, or is there a mechanism at play that makes that concern a moot one?
Hi! So, the particular hinges that I used actually lock in place when the door is closed! So, the door stays firmly closed and then I just have to pull it open from the sides. I didn’t mean to use those, but just happened to have picked them up when I was planning the build.
I do love the magnet idea though! It would be an awesome recommendation for anyone who can’t get their hands on the same hinges!
Great idea I might use the magnet idea myself and some basic hinges
Love the idea. i think about doing a coffe table too, but ill try joinery instead and see where i end up with. great video though
Yes! Thank you! For sure - would love to see that!
I'm gonna start uploading to my own channel soon and add stuff that I make so you and everyone else is welcome to check it out.
Finally made a video on the table, so if anyone is interested, here's the link : ruclips.net/channel/UCZO5ycmdNimWqVXmSNZohNw fair warning though, as I was making the table, I somehow forgot to capture every single process in making it so it's a video when the table is already done. But I have some other projects that I'll be filming more professionally so I hope you guys don't mind. Anyways be sure to check out my new years resolution video as well, both can be found on the link I shared. Thanks 😁
Got the little table from Goodwill check it
That's a great table and we love the hidden storage aspect. What color stain did you use?
Thank you! I used American Walnut from Varathane. 😊
Thanks!
Great project!!!! I love the color. What program do you use to edit your videos?
Thank you so much! I actually just use iMovie... nothing crazy. 🙈
Love the table, the storage and specially the black base. Absolutely loved the color of the stain. Would you mind sharing the color and the brand of the stain. Also, did you apply any top coat on the stained surface? Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much! Pretty positive I used Dark Walnut stain from Varathane and then a satin Polyurethane from Varathane as well. 😊
@@diyhuntress Thank you very much
The amount of rounded screws in this 😂 na good job, will definitly be building these and putting a computrr in one
Looks amazing. I thought the base was made out of square tube. We need to teach you how to weld.
Thanks, dude! That was my goal on this one - so ready to learn how to weld! Hopefully, this summer! 🤞🏼
DIY Huntress weldingtipsandtricks and weldtube each have good videos for beginners up to experts. I’m a welder by trade and our instructor told us about them.
Sick! Gonna check them out - thank you!
Hi Sam, the plans for this are no longer on the Ryobi site, do you have the plans or know where I could get them? Thanks!
I found them, do you still want it?
@@ryaanlatour yes please
@@ryaanlatour I also need them, could you please send them to me? thanks :D
Subscribing for a fellow Long Islander. I want to build something similar but don't have any specialty tools. Planning on a lift top hinge to bring the table to me for eating and so forth. Maybe that's a good video for you?
Edit: just saw this is 2 years old. Going to check out your other content.
Hi neighbor! Had a few other people recommend that as well, maybe I can make one soon! Thanks for checking out my videos!
@@diyhuntress Keep making beautiful shit!
Hiii mam.. I am from India, I see ur video but language problem. Please back panel and top panal measurements tell me

What color stain is that?
I want to say American Walnut from Varathane?
