That legwork was INSANE! Great job Charity and Artem.🔥🔥
Can’t stop watching this. The more I watch the better it gets. The dance of the night imo. Bravo Charity!❤
Don’t forget to vote for her next week
I really thought we were gonna lose charity for a minute thanks swifties!! She deserves to stay the only flaw in this dance was you can still tell she was thinking about what the next step was instead of just going with the dance. She’s afraid of messing up so she hyper focused on the steps but she just needs to just dance and let the whatever happens happen.
The judge’s’ criticism was subjective.
@@davidhill8565 100%. Derek and Bruno got it right. Carrie Ann saying “idk I feel like you can do more” is not something a professional judge should be saying as a critic like the fans saying it is one thing but not a professional judge with “ credentials“.
No she does not deserve to stay she's too into herself & has a horrible personality.
@@JT-gb2ljCarrie Ann gets a lot of hate, but she knows what she’s talking about. Charity has potential to win this whole thing if she puts more out! She is overthinking her steps and bouncing around instead of gliding on the floor. She needs to learn to let go and let her passion and drive take over.
I really want Charity to get to the finale or I will get really upset
Brilliant... the leg work was amazing. You're a champion Charity!
Please don’t forget to vote for her next week
This is probably one of my favorite dances this season ❤
Please don’t forget to vote for her next week
She's needs to get to the finale
The men give fair scores & Totally Honest‼️‼️‼️💯✔️
So magical… I’m a huge fan of Charity Lawson ❤❤❤
Charity en Artem perfect, wonderful good dance 🎉🎉🎉
Very great choreography ! Charity technique was flawless ! Her foot and leg work has improved so much , that you wouldn't be able to tell that she wasn't a ballroom dancer ! Amazing performance and technique. Her fans need to vote !
The tricks were impressive, but her footwork was not authentic to Argentine Tango. Likely Artem's fault for not teaching her to collect her feet between steps?? Or maybe he chose not to focus on authentic footwork in favor of flashy moves?
@@juliequinn311 as a former tango dancer, I'm believe the latter is more accurate.
@@sharonamadi8656 You're probably right. She is excellent at learning whatever technique Artem teaches her, so he likely did not teach her proper technique. I'm a former AT dancer too! I quit because the scene was sooooo clique-ey. I miss it sometimes, tho....
@@juliequinn311 who’s gonna be the final four this season
@@caseykendall6542 My personal opinion: Ariana, Charity, Jason, and Xochitl. However, I can totally see Alyson throwing a wrench into that prediction! The person she's most likely to bump might be Charity?? Because Charity still struggles to put emotion into her dancing, while Alyson is ALL emotion.... But as we've seen, anything can happen on this show!
Wow, she is an amazing dancer
The precision!! Perfection
I love Charity, she's trying and I'm rooting for her so hard
I've been rooting for charity but omg now i see what others are talking about.. she is INCREDIBLY STIFF!!!
I'm seeing a 5th or 4th place finish
I am still glad that Charity is still in the competition. She just needs to have more confidence in her dancing. I hope to see her in the finals!
That was so clean
Love that dress and the song
Flawless! Charity is my fave.
Please don’t forget for her next week
BEST DANCE OF THE NIGHT!!! 👏👏👏👏Great song choice!!!😎❤️
Jasons was better but this was really good
They did it again 😍 I really loved it omg charity Is a stunning dancer so beautiful and artem is my favorite his choreography always on point ❤❤
1:39 please don’t forget to vote for her next week
Charity to the finale
The way the shadow of her arms movement at the beginning resembles snakes is so cool!
IMO her preciseness is her super power and they keep trying to put her into the Xochitl box or the Ariana box. I think the way they were moving last night intentional.
She looks like a pro
This is a great improvement over last week.
Charity awesome
BADASS. Omg.
Great job!
Julianne asking charity if shes ready to go home?!? How rude, then later trying to get her to name her competition, why does charity always get weird questions
Racism. The unconscious bias type. I thought the question was foreshadowing what is to come. It's the fix, you know.
Like I said before, she's "judged" differently.
@@gwendolyntodd6657That’s why I want her to win.
❤ it very good indeed
AMAZING
This is impressive 😊
That damn Carrie Ann Wants Charity Gone‼️‼️‼️
Carrie Ann dated Artem years ago. This is probably the issue.
Her issue isn't technique or movement imo because she is great in both of those areas. It's the connection. Earlier in the season she seemed to be a lot more emotive and to be having fun. Now it looks like she's is more focused on getting it right than enjoying what she is doing which makes it hard to connect with her.
That is subjective.
I agree with you but I think it's in her head (like she admits) and she knows she is judged differently, especially by the female judge(s)
Yass charity
Wow!❤
Wow Charity was perfect! 🔥
Charity and Artem were absolutely amazing! She has all of the moves, but her face shows no expression. But.. I'm getting so frustrated as she did fantastic tonight and still they didn't give all 10s I don't know with Carrie Ann is looking for.
What Carrie Ann Inaba is looking for is something esoteric.
The judges are bias.... period. l agree that was a 10..10..10..10 performance. l think the lack of expression by both was intentional; embedded in the routine and song.
Charity love dance move what the next step was instead of just going with the dance
Sometimes Artem looks shorter than her cause she never goes low during a dance. I think I heard someone say you should not straighten completely in any moment during argentine tango and she does a lot which makes her look stiff
go charity
I think the judges is always hard on her didn't want to give her marks what a petty anyway it's what it is she is a strong lady.
Oh that was soo good!
FLAWLESS!!😮 wish they played the og song tho insted of cover
I'm not sure what more Charity can do at this point. Feel she is judged a little more harshly than everybody else.
Because they know she can do it. This is why they push her even more. People like Harry, Barry and Alyson get the E for effort comments because you know....they can only do so much. It will be the hard comments that will take her all the way to top 3.
I agree. For instance, I'm not surprised Xochitl got the same score, despite her dance not looking nearly as clean, precise or interesting (in my opinion). And Carrie Anne even commented on noticing points where she'd seemed to lose focus...but she and Mandy still gave her a 10? (when they both gave Charity a 9 for her dance that was perfect besides wanting "something more" lol. And they both also gave Harry an 8 for his routine)? I dunno, weird. But I feel like Carrie Ann hass been generally more consistent and reliable in her judging than the guy judges have been (at least for the first half of this season), so I can give her a pass this once. Mandy...meh.
@@Ruth-gd8ygI heard that before about past female contestants from singing competition shows, such as American Idol and The Voice. Carrie Ann Inaba’s critique on Charity’s performance is subjective and esoteric.
@@getcreativeordie4010Another thing is that Ariana Madix has pre-DWTS dancing experience.
@@davidhill8565really? How yk
I just think there couldve been so much more power and emotion especially with this song
I am going to have to agree with you. I love Charity, but there's a crisp and a sharpness that she needs to embody. Her technique and precision are great. But she needs to get a bit more aggressive in her dance moves! We are missing the boom kat!
I think her focus shows and she needs to relax, but more powerful?? How much more powerful can she get? Her technique, lines & delivery is flawless.
See, a lot of comments on here are saying that Carrie Ann is way too harsh and the judges are biased with their 10's. Charity needs to push it even more at this point in the competition! She's dancing without emotion, overthinking and trying not to forget the choreography that she forgets execution, placement and gliding on the floor. For the judges, it's the details that REALLY counts! If Charity was going to remember anything, choreo should have been second nature by now and the details in her arms and legs should have been to be remembered. She's not using her long legs to her advantage. Judges like to see celebrities extended their moves especially in the rhumba. They're looking for fluidity and she gives them rigidity. If I was Charity or anyone else, I would watch RUclips videos of pros doing their thing on the dance floor because what we see is different to how it moves. She needs to learn to cover the floor with bigger moves.
@@cwayzums The judges have never commented on her forgetting execution, placement or gliding. She's just focused and, as @gwendolyn mentioned, you can tell she's focused and, I can even agree, can be rigid. But this dance...all the comments were about needing "something more" and needing "bite"...like, what the hell? In contrast, Carrie Ann mentioned to Xochitl that she'd noticed her losing focus during the dance but, then, still gave her a 10. So...obviously, the judges are okay with giving 10's to dances that they, themselves, deem as less than perfect. Just seems to depend on the person.
Can someone explain to me why they used covers for some songs but taylors version for others? I know theres logistics, like money and rights, and like I get rep and debut bc they arent re-recorded yet. But why for like fearless, speak now, red, and 1989?
Covers are easier for DWTS bc then they can tweak the songs to fit the choreography better and choose which parts of the song they want to use and where they want the music to start and end. They also just prefer having live music in the ballroom
I would love to see her enjoy the dances and relax a bit … hard to connect with her when she seems so absent (though it’s clear she worked hard)
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The judges’ mild criticism was purely subjective.
Yesssss 💃🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Ok was a good dance, but I didn't feel like Jason's Tango. I didn't feel the chemistry between them. Just was a great dance, now she need to perform. For me: two 9's two 10's, or three 9's one 10. Good job guys
oh i remeber this song
Another winner....
something about this dance.. i cant put it how..
And with Mandy with a 10s, for Derek a 10 and Carrie a 10 and Bruno an 8, 38 out of 40 goes to Charity Lawson and Artem with a Tango after picking out "Look What You Done To Me", Taylor Swift's 2019 hit that made Mandy Moore known about her and so is Carrie Ann when she said her lines were Unmatched but she like to see more passion better than accepting this rose to a pretend husband.....and at the dance relay......
Watch Mandy Moore hand gesture at 1:06. She seems already pre-judging (disappointed) before the dance is completed 😮. I totally 100% agree with the real technique judges (Derek & Bruno); 10 scores. And take it with a grain of salt/bitterness for Carrie Ann & Mandy’s 9 scores. Should have all been 10’s……
Taylor swift music on dancing with the stars
❤❤❤
~ Great job Charity & Artem... I sad that Charity is judged more harshly that many others... I'm extremely disappointed with host, Julianne... I don't know what her problem with Charity Lawson is...On Taylor Swift night, her question to Charity was, "Are you ready to go home? It was rude & disrespectful... She also asked Charity for the 2nd time this season, "Who is your biggest competition? Why does this woman continue to do this? Earlier in the season, Charity's response to that question was that she is her biggest competition; trying to get better each week...Julienne had the audacity to ask Charity that same question again, this week... Charity gracefully answered exactly as she did when the question was 1st asked of Charity, by Julienne earlier in the season...Julienne is not asking anyone else these rude questions...She is deliberately showing her true colors & should not be hosting DWTS.
This was a great routine to show her long limbs, which she did beautifully I must say. Here is where it gets a little iffy with her. You can definitely tell she's thinking about the next steps in her routine! So she's not in the moment, and it looks obvious. Now that the season is winding down, to me it's their season to loose. They've pretty much stayed at the top of the leader board, but they have to bring some consistently powerful routines, so those perfect scores can manifest.
I think she's too robotic she needs to loosen up a little bit she's just you know from being a cheerleader but that's just my opinion
Her upper body is not connecting with the what’s going on from her waist down. Whilst her legs are throwing right left and centre with vigour her upper body is stiff as a piece of cardboard and she only has one permanent facial expression which was weird.
Charity ought to get better, but she is stuck in one place for the past couple of weeks. In Argentine tango, YOU DON'T WALK, YOU GLIDE!!! She was walking with zero emotions. It may cost her that mirror ball.
Damn, Artem really slammed the content into that one. Imagine that wasn't an easy routine to learn. She did a great job -- except she kinda reminds me of a toothpick, that she might break at anytime. Not, body shaming, just looks almost too delicate, to me. Doing a great job regardless. 🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏👏
The choreo was beautiful this time. And again - stiff, emotionless on the Charity’s side.😶 She never surprises, it’s okay, no less no more.
See thank you. Like she's good but there's 0 emotion, and with her dancing to this song there should've been more emotion and power. Like this is a badass song and I didn't get hard hitting
I agree, I really like her and at first thought it was nerves or something but I think she should have overcome this by now. I think the cheer background doesn’t help, cheerleaders whilst facial expression is important are meant to be as stiff as a board, so she doesn’t naturally have flow in her movements, so she has to force that, and then forgets to well act in her dancing when she is trying to remember the steps because she can’t just plaster a smile on her face. I don’t agree this deserved all 10s like some of the comments, I think they were generous in their score actually.
@jessicaadaora9109 yes exactly!! Like it's week 8 or 9 I can't remember and she should've definitely broken out of it by now
@@isabelleyosten8327 both she and Artem showed 0 emotion though. l think it was part of the routine. The song had no rhythm to it.... jmho , as, of course, you're entitled to yours. Peace
Left up to Fans Voting. I don't vote. I failed to sleep before Charity danced.
She needs more crispness and bolder action. Some of her kicks were not powerful.
Called the song and type of dance before the show started. It's a good tango song! Lots of bite and attack. Charity's technique has improved a lot, but her bite and attack weren't there. She's too much in her head. If she gets out of her head, she could win.
Julianne Hough said something unprofessional to Charity.
THE AUDIO WHYYYY
Right! I obviously misunderstood “a celebration of Taylor Swift” because they’re dancing to covers!
@@meganking2205 they almost always do, cause it's live. They played some of her actual songs too tho
I kinda thought it was boring ngl
I thought Charity was gonna do Anti-hero
In terms of technique, I think the dance is very good, but I feel that there is a lack of connection and passion in this dance.
Charity and Artem's chemistry isn't flowing.
That’s subjective.
What was her score?
38 Derek was in love so was bruneo so she got 2 tens from them the other 2 have her 9s
@@natashaallen7154ok thank you
The ones who gave her 9s gave her subjective criticism.
9, 10, 9, 10
And an 8 from Cheryl Burke, although that score isn't counted officially ofc
Le falta mucha fuerza
carrie anne is 100% correct. she has no attack and everything is placed so softly unlike the front runners like arianna, xocthil, etc. Also her face is blank:( no emotion shown...
Charity Lawson is health conscious.
She was very stiff
My comment exactly!
I want her to win but sis needs to loosen up 😭
I just feel she’s always missing a little something. Like Carrie Ann says, she needs just a little umph.
That’s subjective.
@@davidhill8565but it's true though it lacks something.....
@@Ruth-gd8yg You mean it lacks some esoteric quality?
She looked super stiff tonight
I thought the same. Every week though.
the music sounds like the trump cover.
Everytime you take your feet up from the ground, please keep them straight and stretched. Thank you
They said she had the best legs so that's not an issue.
@@SunnyDaysAreHereAgain not talking about legs. Im talking about feet
@@wenryareco6228 they complimented her feet as well.
@@SunnyDaysAreHereAgain If they complimented her feet for this dance, then they clearly don't know proper Argentine Tango footwork! I think it's Artem's fault for focusing on flashy tricks instead of teaching her proper AT technique. Watch how Daniella's heels were glued together on her pivots. That is correct technique. That said, Charity is excellent at executing whatever Artem teaches her!
@juliequinn311 how are you comparing Daniella to someone who is properly trained? Charity wouldn't be on her level in 9 weeks. Are you kidding me? They're the experts and you're not.
Mandy Moore is the best choreographer.
She’s ok not quick
Wow, I must have watched different permormance because this? Technique ok but she’s giving literally nothing 😐 no emotion, no passion - nothing.
I've watched pros do tangos...their faces are serious- looking. Intentional stoic-ness?
I agree it was a little lackluster
She is very stiff
She's not
@@briannablackwood4664she is though it seems like she's being forced rather than it being natural and fun
I won't watch dwts anymore if artem is no longer a pro !!!!
Honestly, I think Charity has too high of an opinion of herself.
A bit of humility would go a long ways, imho.
Too high opinion of herself so lets knock her down by giving her scores she doesn't deserve right? Lets put her in her place smh (definitely not surprised).. That is exactly what the judges are thinking as well! You definitely are not alone in your thought (I, however, am not with you...) IMHO
@@joverton6431 yeah, how dare she...think highly of herself? lol... insanity.
@@mrsnet6654 yup she should have low self esteem and walk around with her head hung low. SMH...sad part is they don't see it! Confidence is great and attractive until..... Someone like Charity is confident

It’s was great, but it still lacked something. Her moves were on point. The vibe was a little meh for an Argentine tango. Where’s the passion. The drama. Could be be just me.
