Dear dire, If you look at the chaos generator explosion, you see that it is shaped like a squashed shpere mainly expanding outwards, not up and down. As i result, i suspect the explosion calculation also goes mainly outward and not up/down. the first chaos generator was above all the stuff mainly, and the second level with everything.
Yeah, first time I used to the Chaos Reactor, I was surprised by how complex it was for how relatively little power you get out of it. For an OP mod, it doesn't have OP power generation. However, if you really want truly OP power generation, look no further than Mekanism... Its reactor requires A LOT more work to set up, but once you got it running stably it is is capable of 1,000,000+ RF/tick with theoretically infinite fuel (unlike its IRL counterpart) AND absolutely no explosion risk (like it's IRL counterpart).
The explosion is shaped like Saturn, rings and all. A large sphere surrounded by a largely flattened area. Blow one up in single player at y40 and you'll get the idea
The Explosion was doing damage to the monument because it wasent claimed with FTB Utils while the base with the cobble and dirt was claimed by FTB Utils, FTB Utils blocks all explosions from breaking blocks unless you set the chunk in the map to allow explosions.
the draconic reactor explodes in a fashion like a world edit command(thats why its pretty lag free for such a big explosion) , so when u put it so high on the pyramid it just didnt get all the way down there, thts why the second one worked way better:), btw try spawning in choas crystal and mining it next time, also gives a nice boom.
yeah, i forgot what its called, but its what you mine after u kill the chaos dragon:), with creative u can take that and when u put it down somewhere and break it, it makes a really nice explosion
Dire, I think the reason the sandstone broke and the cobble didn’t is that the cobblestone is resistant to ghast explosions but I believe sandstone isn’t.
Marc Ziegenbein I'm fairly certain that was just because he shot at their claimed area which had explosion damage turned off, whereas the monument is unclaimed and in turn has it turned on.
I had this playing in the background while playing a game, and I tuned in right about at the point where your Draconic reactor exploded. I have no clue why your reaction to that was so calm.
At 99.8% Fuel conversion, the amount of power the reactor allows you to put in to power the shield, decreases. It doesn't matter if you supply Int32.Max, it will decrease how much it will allow in, thus causing the shield to fail as at 99.99% fuel conversion the max power it will accept is like 1k rf/t
You should spawn a Chaos Crystal (the thing you mine in the End, not the shards) and mine it. It will make an explosion in the Overworld if you spawn it there.
Humorously, snow's actually hard enough to melt that it doesn't seem too insane (at least to me) that it'd survive. Seriously, you go try melting ice in one really fast burst. See where it gets you.
This pack feels more like creative mode without interesting builds. The further you get into it, the more trivial the challenges become. It just seems time consuming and possibly frustrating but not actually hard.

Ya, everyone rushes this map and just slaps everything on a platform. I'm only 3/4 of the way done and played way longer than anyone, but I have an awesome base and actually use the mods and resources that I create/ use to create the items to hand in ( does that make sense? lol )

Thats the Chaos crystal cluster, but im fairly sure the mod kills you if you try to place the cluster since its not suppose to be obtainable

Did he really say the Draconic reactor didn't create much power? It creates way more than one extreme reactor with 4 turbines
But compared to what it requires to make and how much power the things in the mod requires, its underpowered.
