Julienne Hajdu Camel if you like a defined darker brow you can still pencil or powder in as this video does not have a brow tint added with the service . Otherwise you can just brush the brows up daily with a clear brow gel :-)

I don’t quite understand. Is this a perm or a dye on the eye brows. What does it do? Make your brows darker or make them brush straight up. I don’t understand what it does.
Sherri Dillon Hi Sherri, good question, thank you for asking . It is a perm for the brows to relax, straighten and easily reposition the direction of the hair allowing them to be easily styled into a fuller looking brow. We did not tint in this video which is why we still ended up penciling in . Her brow hairs grow downwards naturally and would not brush up by just using a brow gel. Hope this explanation helps 😊
Becki Van hi Becki, those with fine or sparse lashes I feel get great results . I prefer doing this service on someone with finer hair and sparse brows oppose to someone with a super full brows with thick course hairs. The before and after results on fine sparse hair is usually amazing . However for someone whom has no brows, without hair , the lift would not be useful as you need brow hairs present . If half your brow wether it be the beginning or the take of your brow is missing and does not grow hair, I would then suggest micropigmentation 😊😊 you can always send me a close up photo of your brows so I can take a look to see if it would be worth for you to book an appointment with someone performing this service in your area ! 😊
Becki Van some people have had great results growing more brow hair by using a dermaroller/Derma pen and hair growth serum. It won’t work for everyone but if you already own a dermaroller or we’re interested in one for skin enhancement it’s worth knowing it can work to regrow hair. I haven’t tried it t but it might be worth researching.

So... maybe beauty actually comes from within? All I know is that life is short. Theresa Crawford Hello Theresa 😊 with any chemical service treatments there are always risks to potential reaction . Service providers can always place a barrier cream on the skin around the brows to help with less contact with product on the skin but that still does not eliminate possibilities of a reaction . In our industry of lash and brow lifts , tints and lash extensions there will always be risks of reaction . If you have very sensitive reactive skin I would say not to have this service done :-) Hope that helps 😊😊

Her natural brows monthly grew downwards ans “ would not “ brush up ans stay up in the direction she wanted when styling her brows , even with the use up brow gel, so by performing the lamination , it relaxed and straightened the hairs therefore allowing her to easily brush up and style as she desires . Hope that makes more sense now 😉😉😊

Carol Cheshire Hi Carol 😊. I only use an adhesive when there very stubborn hairs and only in the area where there are stubborn hairs . The area is usually around the arch point . Karissa Councill Hey Karissa , yes you can. In this video, we didn’t tint but you can definitely tint and it’s recommended! That way too, clients won’t really need to pencil in unless they really have to in sparse or bald areas of the brow. We do have a video for that!

Merry McCreedy Hi, great question , at this point in time , we do not offer henna after doing this service nor recommend it . In all my years of esthetics (20 years ) I have not had a client react to brow tinting . As for henna ....it’s tricky ...I have tried a handful of reputable brands and there have been reactions as well as surrounding salons in my area experiencing the same so when already introducing the lamination and waxing I stay away from henna . Which is funny to say because henna is suppose to be a natural way to colour and yet we still apply brow tint . Hope this helps😉
Zuzu’s Petals all questions are good! No worries at all! I was using the micro swab to push and separate hairs into position I wanted rather than continuing to use a mascara wand which can cause micro scratches which you do not want when having this solution on 😉

I still favour soft wax and I do pre-oil skin before every wax as well. 😉 when I do find a great hard wax I will switch over . I do like the Lycons hard wax , have you tried ? I’ve also considered trying Starpil but haven’t ordered any yet. Do you have a great hard wax you like to work with?

Brow lifting also known as brow lamination is a process where the brow hairs get relaxed and straightened so that it is easier when brushing up and styling ones brows . Now...not everyone needs this service , it is great for those who really love the fuller brushed up brow look but have stubborn brow hairs that glycerin soap or brow gel alone cannot do, therefore this is another option ...note that it is a chemical process though so some are against that. It really just is personal preference. This service is especially amazing on those who have pencil thin looking brows that won’t brush up and stay up and once the hairs are relaxed you can see how the hairs just stand up nicely giving more height to the brow therefore giving a fuller look just from having more height added to the brow . Then you can chose to have your brow artist tint your brows ( which I recommend ) or just keep clear brow gel on or use pencil or powder ! In this video I purposely did not do a tint because I was just wanting to show the lamination process . I hope that helps you better understand. 😉😉

Be sure to retail a Keratin Brow Conditioner to your clients and educate them to apply before bed every night . Clients should also have a brow gel to apply daily. Victoria Perez I would only use the adhesive in an area of the brow that is super stubborn . I’ve played around with it and I don’t actually use the adhesive til after wiping off solution 1 . Some will put adhesive all of the brows to pull hairs up from the get but I personally don’t find it necessary. Place the first solution to relax the hairs, then when you wipe off solution 1 you will then be able to see which hairs won’t move upwards.....then u can place a small amount of adhesive and comb up into place before placing solution number 2! NOTE: in any lift system , the first solutions purpose is to open up that hair cuticle and relax the hairs getting it ready for solution #2 which is what actually sets the hairs into its new shape and form so hair placement is most important when it comes to the second solution . 😊😊

Cheryl Roschnotti Hey Cheryl, is you have no brow hairs then this service would not be needed as there would be no difference. If you have full length brow but just thing and sparse it may help. Hard to tell without seeing your brows . As for tinting or microblading not working for you, be sure that you go to a well experienced micropigmentation artist who has a lot of knowledge with how ink and it’s colours heal under certain skin types and skin tones. When microblading one has to be careful to not cut too deep and create scar tissue or cause the ink to blow out yet still cut deep enough to properly “ implant “ the ink . If you don’t have enough brow hairs the brow tinting alone would be pointless as it needs enough hairs to create a difference rather than only staining the skin for a few days. I hope this helps . If your hairs do not grow at all , as mentioned earlier , I would just say to look out for another micropigmentation artist with a lot of experience to help give you the brows of your dreams!!! 😘😘

Hi Teresa , if you do not have brow hairs present past the center of the eye and you have tried to grow them in and no hairs will grow , you either have to just learn to draw and fill them in daily with a brow pencil or powder and if that is just too much for you to do every morning , I would then suggest considering micropigmentation. Be sure to find an amazing artist and book a consult with them to see what they can do for your brows 😉😉
A Annie Hi :-) I have been doing this service on my self personally for the past 5 months. From my own experience I have been fine as well as for those who we have been performing the service on HOWEVER, we must all not forget that it is a chemical service and that there will always be the risk of a reaction to those who decide to receive it so be sure that you’re clients are signing your salons client waiver /intake form. Anyone with very sensitive reactive skin should avoid this service as well as those with very dry skin, eczema, or acne . Hope this helps ! Let me know if you have any further questions ! :-)

The thing is that her eyebrows were already perfect before this. I'm sure the results will not be the same for women like me, who have sparse eyebrows.

Yes she has nice brows but the problem is she wanted to reposition her hairs so that they Would brush up and stay up as her brows growth direction was downwards , so by receiving this service , it allowed for her brows to gain “ height “ which in return gives a fuller bigger brow. For some people brow gel do not do the trick to pull the brows up and stay up. Brow lamination services relax the hair by the perm solution then reposition the hairs with the neutralizer solution . It allows for easier styling too. I think for those who have sparse brows this service actually works well with because once the hairs can be repositioned it will cover and hide even some of the bald spots too. I plucked mine out completely years ago since then all I get are a few dispersed strands pointing up down etc. but a bunch all around where we don't need them.
LoVa Blanc yesbher natural brows are great! The thing is, her natural brow hairs would not stay brushed up with brow gel alone, so what the brow lamination helps with us to relax and straighten the brow hairs allowing for easier styling. Normally we would follow with a brow tint but I just wanted to show how easily moldable the brow hairs are after relaxing them 😊😊 hope that helps 😉😉
Simple Beauty Hi, because if the nature is the solution it is opening up the hair cuticle . It can lighten the hairs a bit to which you can then have a brow tint but it should not actually “ bleach “ your brows as it is not a bleaching product .
Doug Elliott eeeek has not happened with any of our clients yet but there’s always risk if sensitive or reaction. If breaking out in pimples the next day was a guarantee for everyone I do not believe this service would be one any salon would want to offer . Some who get irritated from shaping by “ waxing “ can always opt for tweezing and or threading and just be careful of what post care lotions or oils get put on the skin afterwards. 😊
Very beautiful, but her natural brows were flattering before. I'm a retired esthetician. Did not ever do this procedure. I preferred hard wax to get all the hairs with no tweezing necessary.

By doing the lamination , we are able to manipulate and easily brush the brow hairs upwards when styling to create a fuller thicker brow. In her case a regular brow gel still wouldn’t not keep her brows hairs standing upwards when brushed up which is why we did the lamination 😊 Hope that helps you better understand 😉

Theresa Crawford Hello Theresa 😊 with any chemical service treatments there are always risks to potential reaction . Service providers can always place a barrier cream on the skin around the brows to help with less contact with product on the skin but that still does not eliminate possibilities of a reaction . In our industry of lash and brow lifts , tints and lash extensions there will always be risks of reaction . If you have very sensitive reactive skin I would say not to have this service done :-) Hope that helps 😊😊

Sorry maybe im dense but in not understanding what this is doing to the brows how does the results of this differ from brushing up my eyebrows and setting them in place with clear mascara?
shannonfbc1 oh my gosh Shannon, ur not dense at all! That is a perfectly good question . Her natural brows monthly grew downwards ans “ would not “ brush up ans stay up in the direction she wanted when styling her brows , even with the use up brow gel, so by performing the lamination , it relaxed and straightened the hairs therefore allowing her to easily brush up and style as she desires . Hope that makes more sense now 😉😉😊

Many brow salons are now offering this service and it also is paired up with a brow tint ( not shown in this video ) , so depending on your area , the cost of this service will vary. Carol Cheshire Hi Carol 😊. I only use an adhesive when there very stubborn hairs and only in the area where there are stubborn hairs . The area is usually around the arch point . I find that those who use adhesive for every clients brows is honestly a waste of product and money and unnecessary. Hope that helps ! Let me know if you have any other questions 😉

Karissa Councill Hey Karissa , yes you can. In this video, we didn’t tint but you can definitely tint and it’s recommended! That way too, clients won’t really need to pencil in unless they really have to in sparse or bald areas of the brow. We do have a video for that!

Merry McCreedy Hi, great question , at this point in time , we do not offer henna after doing this service nor recommend it . In all my years of esthetics (20 years ) I have not had a client react to brow tinting . As for henna ....it’s tricky ...I have tried a handful of reputable brands and there have been reactions as well as surrounding salons in my area experiencing the same so when already introducing the lamination and waxing I stay away from henna . Which is funny to say because henna is suppose to be a natural way to colour and yet we still apply brow tint . Hope this helps😉

Zuzu’s Petals all questions are good! No worries at all! I was using the micro swab to push and separate hairs into position I wanted rather than continuing to use a mascara wand which can cause micro scratches which you do not want when having this solution on 😉
Why are you using soft wax and strips instead of hard wax with azulene?

I still favour soft wax and I do pre-oil skin before every wax as well. 😉 when I do find a great hard wax I will switch over . I do like the Lycons hard wax , have you tried ? I’ve also considered trying Starpil but haven’t ordered any yet. Do you have a great hard wax you like to work with?

Cindie Kirts Hi Cindie , how are you? Thank you for reaching out . Brow lifting also known as brow lamination is a process where the brow hairs get relaxed and straightened so that it is easier when brushing up and styling ones brows . Now...not everyone needs this service , it is great for those who really love the fuller brushed up brow look but have stubborn brow hairs that glycerin soap or brow gel alone cannot do, therefore this is another option ...note that it is a chemical process though so some are against that. It really just is personal preference. This service is especially amazing on those who have pencil thin looking brows that won’t brush up and stay up and once the hairs are relaxed you can see how the hairs just stand up nicely giving more height to the brow therefore giving a fuller look just from having more height added to the brow . Then you can chose to have your brow artist tint your brows ( which I recommend ) or just keep clear brow gel on or use pencil or powder ! In this video I purposely did not do a tint because I was just wanting to show the lamination process .

Victoria Perez Hey Victoria 😊 the last step to complete this service is to apply clear brow gel and do not wet brows for 24 hours. Be sure to retail a Keratin Brow Conditioner to your clients and educate them to apply before bed every night . Clients should also have a brow gel to apply daily.

Victoria Perez I would only use the adhesive in an area of the brow that is super stubborn . I’ve played around with it and I don’t actually use the adhesive til after wiping off solution 1 . Some will put adhesive all of the brows to pull hairs up from the get but I personally don’t find it necessary. Place the first solution to relax the hairs, then when you wipe off solution 1 you will then be able to see which hairs won’t move upwards.....then u can place a small amount of adhesive and comb up into place before placing solution number 2! NOTE: in any lift system , the first solutions purpose is to open up that hair cuticle and relax the hairs getting it ready for solution #2 which is what actually sets the hairs into its new shape and form so hair placement is most important when it comes to the second solution . 😊😊

Cheryl Roschnotti Hey Cheryl, is you have no brow hairs then this service would not be needed as there would be no difference. If you have full length brow but just thing and sparse it may help. Hard to tell without seeing your brows .
As for tinting or microblading not working for you, be sure that you go to a well experienced micropigmentation artist who has a lot of knowledge with how ink and it’s colours heal under certain skin types and skin tones. When microblading one has to be careful to not cut too deep and create scar tissue or cause the ink to blow out yet still cut deep enough to properly “ implant “ the ink .
If you don’t have enough brow hairs the brow tinting alone would be pointless as it needs enough hairs to create a difference rather than only staining the skin for a few days.
I hope this helps . If your hairs do not grow at all , as mentioned earlier , I would just say to look out for another micropigmentation artist with a lot of experience to help give you the brows of your dreams!!! 😘😘

What if you don't have brows past center of eye?

Hi Teresa , if you do not have brow hairs present past the center of the eye and you have tried to grow them in and no hairs will grow , you either have to just learn to draw and fill them in daily with a brow pencil or powder and if that is just too much for you to do every morning , I would then suggest considering micropigmentation. Be sure to find an amazing artist and book a consult with them to see what they can do for your brows 😉😉

From my own experience I have been fine as well as for those who we have been performing the service on HOWEVER, we must all not forget that it is a chemical service and that there will always be the risk of a reaction to those who decide to receive it so be sure that you’re clients are signing your salons client waiver /intake form. Anyone with very sensitive reactive skin should avoid this service as well as those with very dry skin, eczema, or acne . Hope this helps ! Let me know if you have any further questions ! :-)

Yes she has nice brows but the problem is she wanted to reposition her hairs so that they Would brush up and stay up as her brows growth direction was downwards , so by receiving this service , it allowed for her brows to gain “ height “ which in return gives a fuller bigger brow. For some people brow gel do not do the trick to pull the brows up and stay up. Brow lamination services relax the hair by the perm solution then reposition the hairs with the neutralizer solution . It allows for easier styling too. I think for those who have sparse brows this service actually works well with because once the hairs can be repositioned it will cover and hide even some of the bald spots too. The thing is, her natural brow hairs would not stay brushed up with brow gel alone, so what the brow lamination helps with us to relax and straighten the brow hairs allowing for easier styling. Normally we would follow with a brow tint but I just wanted to show how easily moldable the brow hairs are after relaxing them 😊😊 hope that helps 😉😉

Simple Beauty Hi, because if the nature is the solution it is opening up the hair cuticle . It can lighten the hairs a bit to which you can then have a brow tint but it should not actually “ bleach “ your brows as it is not a bleaching product .

Doug Elliott eeeek has not happened with any of our clients yet but there’s always risk if sensitive or reaction. If breaking out in pimples the next day was a guarantee for everyone I do not believe this service would be one any salon would want to offer . Some who get irritated from shaping by “ waxing “ can always opt for tweezing and or threading and just be careful of what post care lotions or oils get put on the skin afterwards. 😊
Very beautiful, but her natural brows were flattering before. I'm a retired esthetician. Did not ever do this procedure. I preferred hard wax to get all the hairs with no tweezing necessary.

By doing the lamination , we are able to manipulate and easily brush the brow hairs upwards when styling to create a fuller thicker brow. In her case a regular brow gel still wouldn’t not keep her brows hairs standing upwards when brushed up which is why we did the lamination 😊 Hope that helps you better understand 😉
