I got my two stroke ktm 300 XC . I will never go back to any four stroke again! I just ordered the rock star edition Husqvarna I get it in March. Thanks for the review Cheers.
Who else spent the first 5 minutes watching the dogs? I thought they were gonna have a biffo at the start. I like AT81 , they break free easily on heavy throttle though but hook up well once they bite.
@@zigglebuzz the black dog was definitely looking for some sort of mischief haha I'm running gt333 at the moment, oddly prefer the 110 over the 120. Find the 120 skates a bit on loose hills. Qld is dry and loose mostly so always looking for the unicorn. The 300 is a killer bike. 👍
Nice review mate, I live up at Dargo and have been tossing up between the 300 and the 501, after hearing your review I think I will go with the 501, thanks for the info
I took my 21 TE300i to Dargo at Easter. I think my 450 would have been better for the open coutry and 4x4 trails. I love my 300 on singletrack though. Horses for courses, that's why you need both 👍😁
Watched another video of a bloke who said the same thing regarding the flat spot. He turned the valve out one and a half turns and the flat spot disappeared.
the bike should not bog in the high country yes it ill loose a little more power overall as i bikes do, free tip turn the dolly screw out one turn and see how much more it rips and if you want more install a red spring, so much extra free power. yellow or red spring you just keep turning out the PV dolly screw until you loose power then turn back 1/4 to half turn and your sweet, most bikes are close to flush but you only know until you turn it yourself
TSP Headkit of your compression choice and it's be a different machine. Sucks we have to spend the money AFTER already dropping the cash on the fucking bike in the first place.
The flat spot you mentioned can be fixed by turning the power valve adjustor out a 1 - 1 1/2 turns. don't go more than 2 turns. The dealer I work with turns them all out 1.5 turns when they do the PDI and when KTM does demo rides here the in states they do the same thing.
Hey buddy, no excessive maintenance at this stage, just the normal oil, air filters etc. Cheaper than a traditional 2 stroke as you use less oil and fuel
Great review you have definitely shown that you can pretty well do anything on the 300 .
Cheers I’m definitely looking at a low k 2023 model.
@@julianlewis632 thanks mate, love my 300 still have it and it’s still going well, keep up the maintenance and it will look after you 👍🏼

No worries, great off-road bike, thanks for the feedback
Great overview and beautiful bike. Enjoy.
Thanks Travis, they are a great bike about to create an 18 month video in the coming weeks

Those AT81’s are better after a couple of rides, got to live the dogs 🐕 in the backyard.

No worries I was tossing up between the 2 as well, I think I’ll end up with both one for tight trails & one for open rides etc

@@dewimtbmoto totally agree buddy, just have to run a 500 past the wife 🤣
@@zigglebuzz thats the hard part!
Great video. I am getting one of these when i have saved up some. The short 2-stroke sound intro was genius, totally got me in the mood
Thanks max, they are a great bike I love mine
It's a great bike. I put my suspension to the sport mode and its great now. Give it a try.
Sounds like a TSP head is on the cards, look forward to the 12 month review
I think that and suspension set up
Watched another video of a bloke who said the same thing regarding the flat spot. He turned the valve out one and a half turns and the flat spot disappeared.
Thanks Nath, I’ll give it a go
The TSP head & ecu package is definitely worth it mate.
Thanks mate see how I go, they seem like the way to go
Great video! Keep them coming!
Thanks Lilly

Love you vids Bro
Thanks legend 😁🤙🏼
Thanks man, keep up the great work
How did you go at the ride park?
Ride park is awesome
Is this easier to handle than a ktm 450 sxf?
100%
Have you adjusted the ppwervalve?

Good video mate
Thanks Max 🤙🏼
so when you say that you don’t have to mix 2 stroke do you just run straight 98?
Yep run 98 fuel and top up the 2 stroke oil in the oil tank 👍🏼 last for about 10-13 rides on average
I'm quite new for this kind of new tpi 2 stroke bike, what's is the maintenance? Is it costly to live with one?
Hey buddy, no excessive maintenance at this stage, just the normal oil, air filters etc.

@@zigglebuzz compulsory to use motorex 2 stroke oil ?
@@ChuanMOTOVLOG I run motorex but unsure if it’s compulsory
