    Casi toda la vida escuchando clasica...devoto del réquiem de MOZART...y descubrí esta obra hace apenas 4 meses! Escuchando el R Aeternam ya casi me caigo de la silla , de la impresión. Una música muy notable, sin la fama que merece.

    Quam olim Abrahae promisisti: 18:52 , listen "quam olim Abrahae" of the Mozart's requiem too.

      also interesting of note is the first five notes of the Kyrie from Mozart's are the same as "And with His stripes" from Handel's Messiah

      As far as I know Mozart and Haydn M. were friends (or, at least, on good terms) and Mozart held Haydn's works in high esteem. It''s not entirely unreasonable to assume that Mozart paid homage to his esteemed colleague.

      Not really. On left is depicted Michael Haydn. On right Sigismund Graf von Schrattenbach (1698-1771)

      @@JohannMichaelHaydn17371806 He's not talking about the cover. It's a joke about the 2 dislikers of the video and how they can be compared to Salieri (who is portrayed as a grump in the movie Amadeus).
