Casi toda la vida escuchando clasica...devoto del réquiem de MOZART...y descubrí esta obra hace apenas 4 meses! Escuchando el R Aeternam ya casi me caigo de la silla , de la impresión. Una música muy notable, sin la fama que merece.
As far as I know Mozart and Haydn M. were friends (or, at least, on good terms) and Mozart held Haydn's works in high esteem. It''s not entirely unreasonable to assume that Mozart paid homage to his esteemed colleague.
@@JohannMichaelHaydn17371806 He's not talking about the cover. It's a joke about the 2 dislikers of the video and how they can be compared to Salieri (who is portrayed as a grump in the movie Amadeus).

Was für eine Entdeckung. Da studierte ich Joseph Haydn´s Londoner Symphonien - und erfahre erst jetzt von dessen kongenialem Bruder! GrossARTig!
Welcome to Michael Haydn world! 😃

Está obra inspiro a Mozart.
A stunning choral work. I hope that Blackburn Music Society will perform this one day, I will do my best to persuade them!

This piece is amazing...
Masterpiece.
Quam olim Abrahae promisisti: 18:52 , listen "quam olim Abrahae" of the Mozart's requiem too.
also interesting of note is the first five notes of the Kyrie from Mozart's are the same as "And with His stripes" from Handel's Messiah

Thanks
Excellent performance but the recording volume is too low for me.
2 people are Salieri.
Not really. On left is depicted Michael Haydn. On right Sigismund Graf von Schrattenbach (1698-1771)

@@DaVinciConcerto jajaja I didn't realize about dislikers! Thanks!
@@JohannMichaelHaydn17371806 who can dislike such a masterpiece?! I really appriciate all your works
Le prof de mozart
the beginning was apparently inspired by Pergolesi's STABAT MATER
Pergolesi: I am everywhere
I thought the same when I heared this the first time.

may all the good things come to you :) :)
@@ottavva, the same thing !
Haydn Requiem is the best. Better than Mozart.

Sequentia très rapide alors que la partition marque Andante maestoso, sans doute le chef avait un train à prendre
Sequentia? Je ne vois pas quelle partie c'est.
Ah d'accord le Dies irae
Vous avez absolument raison ahah!
Pity the Sanctus break the pace.....
