I actually liked the trailer, it's kind of got this claymation vibe to it, even though they're just copying the Spider-Verse look. Which I guess is the thing, copy what works. But I also didn't like the Rocksteady and Bebop look. And Donatello sounding like a toddler, that really bothers me. They got it right in the original cartoon and movies. But who got gender swapped? Everybody seemed about the same, as I remember. All those childhood memories are mostly a blur now. I know there were complaints about Black April I've seen in comments, but aside from how this Black girl is Irish, it doesn't bother me. Besides, she's basically a creation right? Her father dreamed her up and she came to existence, something like that. Either way, I'm curious about this new incarnation.
As for the gender swapping, Leatherhead and Wingnut were swapped from male to female. Ashamed as there are actual female villains they could have used. I'm curious about the movie myself but I think I will hold out till home video.
@@dclassd-railed1549 That's the one thing I'll never understand about that, they have female characters that can be used, yet they still feel the need to alter characters. I get having more diversity, but these methods aren't going to end sexism or whatever they think it's going to fix. And I'll only be able to see it if it makes its way to Tubi or other free streaming.
Yeah, I don't get the reasoning either. But, at least I'm not letting that effect my feelings on the toys. I'd prefer to judge them on their own merits. And I do like what I see so far for the turtles at least.
Another solid video man!
I love it mayhem line❤
I like the turtles. Not crazy about the non turtles tho. But there's enough turtles for everyone!
Movie was sooooo good!
I am glad to hear you enjoyed it! 😊
