- In addition to their festival appearances, Slowdive have also played an exclusive club show in Dortmund this summer. We met the shoegaze icons backstage at the FZW on June 3 before their concert to talk to them about their late success, their status as a cult band and touring life. Singer Rachel Goswell and bassist Nick Chaplin also took a look back at the band's beginnings and their time as young goth kids - and ventured a glimpse into the future with us.

I met Nick and rachel after their show in london and Luxembourg. They took great time to talk to fans and sign stuff. Two very nice cool guys. Rachel is probably the most down to earth celebrity i ever met.
They get questions, answer them and then seem to rethink their answers. Very authentic, and they should be more proud of their reputation, great band.
legends
Lovely people 🥰
Love this! 🖤🙌
awesome one.
Given that you state you enjoy looking at the Spotify statistics on where your listers are I find it surprising the band would pass on doing a Southern California show. According to Spotify LA has the most USA followers. Please add a Los Angeles or San Diego show
Everything Is Alive is one of their best albums. 🔥
Easily top 5
yes the fields of the nephlim!!! goth and shoe gaze are my favourite genres
i am happy to discover them in there days.
Only learned about Slowdive recently. The only Brit bands we heard of in western Canada back then was Oasis, Blur, and The Cure.
You're wrong, but OK.
They seem very argumentative with eachother
