I would just like to remind everyone that immediately after this scene, this horse canonically went to hell. "Clip clop into the light!" *beat* "... Wait what's this hole doing he-AHHHHHH"
I WON'T stand for Goo Horse slander. He WASN'T a bigot, it's just he was the first Puppet that the Genie took to un-puppet! Stop slandering the good name of the Goo Horse! He just wanted to go Clippy Cloppy!
Come back to this after seeing the horse glitch in ss 4 lore. The ending actually looks like they're gone to hell lol I assume he doesn't get to see his family and friends then.
What I find interesting is how the fuck did Shane get that gew horse on the stage without ruining the curtain and if he did get some of that get on that curtain how the hell did they get it off
It's not actually molasses or non-descript "goo". None of the strands break off or stretch even with all the shaking. It's just a rubbery material molded to look that way.
I'd say Swing Jazz, and it has what I and some others call "talking lyrics" where the singing is done at about the same speed as a normal conversation, the Ink Spots are a good example of that. It also has some vibes of a Broadway Comedic Musical.
it's pretty hard to pin this down because it's influenced by a lot jazz sub-genres but anna already covers most of it. its still difficult finding similar songs even with those in mind. i personally think big band is the primary influence as opposed to swing. little bit of doo wop in there along the musical mentioned. to me it sounds like ruclips.net/video/Z5ccutW7Png/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/P1eU_lDQaVM/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/tzKIxFJj-zM/видео.html + ruclips.net/video/LqIVHzusbGI/видео.html = Clip Clop into the Light
This will be playing in my head when I die
I desperately want to dance in a kick line while tipping my top hat to this song
this is the only way to describe my thoughts on this song thank you
I keep catching myself singing this song as I work around the house
I'd join you. We can do the can can
@@issa5806 count me in too!
the chords leading into the chorus are The Kickline Music and it feels so right
I would just like to remind everyone that immediately after this scene, this horse canonically went to hell.

Unironically Shane should write a Broadway musical
We need to start a petition

😂😂😂
Unironically the final "it's been a lovely horsey life" is in my head, my heart, and my spleen. The talent of this man.
I hate how much I love this song
Same
God was a very very very wonderful surprise
shane's delivery of “oh-kay” is so funny to me
This song makes me less afraid of death.
this is my favourite genre of music, the musical theatre style banger filled with existential dread and absurdist happiness
I WON'T stand for Goo Horse slander. He WASN'T a bigot, it's just he was the first Puppet that the Genie took to un-puppet! Stop slandering the good name of the Goo Horse! He just wanted to go Clippy Cloppy!
He slaughtered a family of mice.
@@chaotixninja5 was gonna say, we did get confirmation
@@chaotixninja5 maybe those Mice had it coming.
sometimes i think about the fact that this musical number needed shane to cover a puppet in molasses backstage… theater truly is the greatest art
CLIP CLOP INTO THE LIIIIIIIIIIGHT
I love Garrett’s reaction when the song starts.
anyone gonna point out that the horse goes to hell instead of heaven
No the guy is god supposely
There is also Death cameo.
@@DALEKCHANNELYT They mean that the horse goes into fire at the end of the song.
Yeah- oof
@@8cladgamer210 understandable
LITERALLY play this at my funeral
I’m writing this in my will
That fact that this slaps so hard as a showtune song is insane.
I love how Ryan can't help but break his straight face character and start laughing after the bit about drifting into the abyss
i need a 10 hour version of this so bad omg
Ryan is always really good with not breaking character which makes the songs that manage to make him laugh even better.
Come back to this after seeing the horse glitch in ss 4 lore. The ending actually looks like they're gone to hell lol I assume he doesn't get to see his family and friends then.
Yeah poor horse its a same he didn't get to see his wife again I'm sure she was a wonderful horse
At least a few other horses probably went to hell. He's most likely not alone.
@@fritzskrivvens8727 i hope he's with his wife
God said they will meet.
This show is goated beyond comprehension
Out of all of Shane’s tunes, I’d say this, The Golden Stool and The Hippo song are amoungst his best.
Hands down my favorite PH song yet 👏
Oh god I've been singing this as a lullaby to my baby for a few weeks... 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ can't stop
and i thought the bye bye brothers song was weird,,,, this is so weird but catchy
The bye bye brothers was probably a close second for this season
I want to believe Geralt's horse Roach heard a variation of this after she died.
the only crime is that this song is not LONGER!!, we need the full version!!
I want this played at my funeral
Me too
Along with the whole being dead thing
Ngl i have a fear of life after death and this kinda helps
why does Shane’s voice for god sound like bo burnham 👀
I will always say this and I'll never shut up about it but if youtube doesn't work out for Shane, he should write showtunes! Love it
My favorite puppet history song yet
This song is really catchy and also funny
41 other bostonian horses and none of them were dorothy ruth 😔
holy fuck this song goes so hard, its so funky
This my favorite
okay, but this is fine art
This is the best puppet history song lmao
never thought god and a sticky dead horse would get me into ska music
Replayed this a lot when I had jury duty
One of the BEST
Im sad the horse went to hell
At least we now know why the horse went to hell :(
Im catching up on all the songs and episodes so that im ready for season 4 being release in a few days
to bad goop horse went to hell
Wow bojack horseman got fucking WEIRD
Didn't the horse end up going to hell? And also what for?
Shane should make a musical semi inspired by bill wurtz history of the entire world i guess
Could someone please direct me to other songs sounding like this?
Memento Mori by Will Wood
Me and my sister hace been jamming c out to your cuts ❤
I'm genuinely so glad people enjoy these!
I can see why he's in hell.
Does anyone else think that Garrett looks vaguely like Joey Batey’s cousin?
What I find interesting is how the fuck did Shane get that gew horse on the stage without ruining the curtain and if he did get some of that get on that curtain how the hell did they get it off

@Seth X for Shane to figure that out ontop of the other shit he does for this show really show how much thought and passion go into a puppet show
Does anyone know what style of music this is
I'd say Swing Jazz, and it has what I and some others call "talking lyrics" where the singing is done at about the same speed as a normal conversation, the Ink Spots are a good example of that.

Should mention, I'm not a musical theorist, so take my shitty take with a grain of salt, lol
It's very Broadway and I love it
It reminds me of an old Disney song I can't remember
