I’m just now realizing that this entire plot line is something of a reference to the Max Headroom incident- the original Max Headroom character originated in a story about a TV host AI created from the memories of an investigative reporter who was wrongly presumed dead. Kinda like how the Substitute was created from the Professor’s memories after the Prof “died”. This whole thing was Shane’s excuse to roleplay as max headroom and damn he did a good job

Honestly, this is probably the one puppet history song that I don't actually like (just not my style at all), but what I love about the range of music in this show is that all of these songs are at least one person's favorite.
