- Vale's Copper Cliff Mine South Site played host to Ontario Mine Rescue's 2012 Provincial Mine Rescue Competition. In preparation for the event and during the event, many trips were made on the ramp down to and up from the 1500 foot level where the underground scenario was staged. The video shows one such return journey. The site, which is connected underground to the nearby Copper Cliff Mine North Site, has been on a care and maintenance program since 2009.
does that mean they aren't mining there now?
Pretty sure they are starting up again in 2020.. i start there in 2 weeks ill let ya know 😂
Dan Timmins If it weren’t for miners literally everything you own wouldn’t exist. Show some respect and grow up. Geez.
Dan Timmins And steel, and electronic parts, and coins, and electrical wire, and metal for cars, and batteries, and concrete, and glass, and fertilizer, and precious gemstones.....shall I go on? Why don’t you go crawl back in that hole you came out of at the end of April and let the big boys talk here? Or keep making a fool of yourself, your choice.
Dan Timmins Like i said, making a fool of yourself. Stay in school buddy.
Dan Timmins Troll.
How deep that thing goes?
@GRIFFEX // グリフェックス That is still over 1,000 mts below sea level. It is not for the faint of heart.
This mine goes to 5200ft. if you travel the ramp from surface its about a 17km drive.
I have no experience in mining.. is there job for ppl like me to work for vale
If you want to work hard and safe, yes. It's not for everyone.
