For Today - Arm the Masses
To me music is music, i pay attention to the song lyrics, and they talk about standing up to bullies, not giving up, and having hope, nothing about satan or worshiping him, if it does talks about that i close it and never look it up again. It scares people because of its sounds, thats why it has that label. I can argue that i love rock, punk, metal and all other genres for that matter and how its not satanic, but im tired of arguing. I devote my life to God, that is all i need, GOD BLESS
Seeing them live is like 10x as intense. There have been very few times I have felt as much energy in a room as when I've been at a For Today show.
My country Lebanon is currently having a revolution , and i cant find a song that suits our situation better ♡

I'm happy to say that I'm an atheist and I still love this band regardless of them being christian. I hate people that hate them form being christian because it should not matter, as long as the music is awesum! I respect their messege regardless.
For the people fighting about religion on here stop it Christians you are no better than anyone else and this comes from a Christian, and to everyone else God is a supreme being but a loving one too he has the power to interfere with anything but he gave us a choice what we do with it is our problem so stop complaining everyone

I love rock and metal and I love God, I see nothing wrong. If it sends me to hell one day then so be it, God knows I would die for him and I love him with more than my life. To me not all music that isnt about God is satanic, you just have to know how to handle it. Way back when, people thought that all instruments were from the devil, now they are widely used by everyone Christians and non Christians alike.I live life so i could enjoy the time God gave me, I am happy with it.

@Bgirlfaby I respect you for that. I'm a religious person who doesn't crucify atheist for not believing in God. So I love to see that there are people who share this common respect for one-another.
I love how people go around disliking christian bands just because they are christian bands. I mean..what point does it serve hating on religion? It doesnt get you anywhere in life.
in today's society i think God would be against a lot of things, pop songs that talk about one night stands, rap songs that talk about drinking and drugs, movies with violence and sex or crude humor, i dont think i could walk outside and not witness or hear this kind of stuff. I wouldnt be able to turn on a TV. i see little kids talk about this stuff, singing along with songs like this but im not here to judge, i like what i like regardless. I never met God, i only do what i think he wants me to

I cant believe I'm replying, im tired. I LOVE GOD and i love metal and rock music, I believe God will protect me if it is as satanic as you say it is. I will see life the way I see it, you will see it your way. No amount of words will change it because people are stubborn, they dont want to be told they are wrong. @madame33licious Those are actually Seraphim. According to the Bible they are creatures that continually praise God. The creatures themselves have 6 wings and are covered in eyes. They are found a lot in the book of Revelation, and you can find the band's purpose for the album cover on their myspace blog.

1)I plan on living my life being the nicest person I can be and honest, helpful, and overall good. If i dont make it to "heaven" (if it where to exist) but someone that had been a horrible human being, for example a rapist,murdered,etc. does make it just because they repented right before death, then thats some bullshit. And I wouldnt wanna be in a hypocrate place like that.

Even though I don't really like the name of the band called Heaven Shall Burn they have a song called the Weapon They Fear. "In this world of lies, the truth, it means resistance." There you go coming from a band probably as opposite as this one.

The "Satan symbol" you're thinking of is a pentagram. An upside down 5 pointed star. Look closely and you'll see that this one has six.

i am sorry what happened to you happened, however god has little control over what we do, he gave man free will from the very moment he created atom, to blame god for all the things in the world is foolish. my question is, for all the people starving and dying, for all the people suffering, instead of asking what god can do, what could the world do? what has the world done? what could you do to help these starving people, instead of blaming one person for the issues in this world?

Because by its very nature metal(core) (anything branching off of hardcore, in my opinion) is music that is pure emotion and energy. Can you think of a better way of expressing what you really feel deep deep down inside than screaming about it like this? It just so happens their are people that this is what they feel deep deep down and they want to scream it out to the world....
or maybe I'm completely wrong I don't know that just my take on it ;)
