I don't like the opinions of people who have never driven this car and say that the golf 8 1.0 tsi is a slow car. Not slow at all. it is absolutely sufficient for normal riding

Is there much difference in high speed between this and 1.5 tsi? Because this comes with torsion beam i guess

My 2020 1.5 tsi 130hp also has a torsion beam. AFAIK only 150hp version has multi-link suspension. I measured 210 kmh (gps).

i needs more gas to get it moving. I have the same engine in Octavia 4

If you plan driving 180kmh where it is possible then I recommend you 1.5 TSI 150hp but driving 1.0 110hp 150-160kmh requires around 3200 - 3500 RPM so it's not a big deal.
Just like in 1.0 ecoboost or 1.0 tce oil intervals have to be taken seriously (to be honest they should be taken seriously in any newer car) - I would recommend to change filter+oil more often like 8-10tkm instead of VW recommendation 15tkm. Good thing is to remember that after long driving with high speed you should cool down turbocharger for at least few minutes - in many older turbocharged cars you can find such sticker in the car. Check mobile.de, you can find many used cars for sale with 1.0 TSI having 150-200 tkm and still you have to pay some decent money which speak for itself in terms of reliability.
Unlike the city driving, highway doesn't have impact on GPF and dual-mass flywheel.

@@m4ci3j88 it's not about how fast you driving, but how hard you accelerate.. downsized engine with high output is constantly stressed, unless you driving and accelerating with 1/4 throttle... 3L or 4L engine with do same result, at let's say 20% load, low RPM and will last 1M kilometers. Maybe same fuel consumption, because you don't need to push the gas pedal so hard.

"it's not about how fast you driving, but how hard you accelerate" - you may want to check term boundary friction, it occurs at aggressive acceleration and also at constant high rpm.
What do you understand in terms of load? I assume you calculated this as 0 RPM - 0% and RPM at max output as 100% load.
      Two examples:
      Audi A6 3.0 TDI at 140kmh around 1900 RPM, very efficient diesel engine - 6,5L/100km, max output around 4000 - 4400 - load 43% ruclips.net/video/Qf3mZxOV8tY/видео.html
      Golf 8 1.0 TSI at 140 - around 3000 RPM - 6,5L/100km, max output around 5000-5500 - load 54% ruclips.net/video/RHVBmMqNyCA/видео.html
Personally I think it is not wise to talk about some load but definitely it is possible to make far greater mileage in 3.0 TDI.
If you were thinking about some older gas powered 3.0 V6 and 4.0 V8 I doubt that fuel efficiency would be even close but yes 1M is totally possible. The thing is that almost no one who buy new car is planning to make 1M, fuel efficiency, insurance costs and the price of car are more important factors. In terms of mileage don't forget about the style of driving, where do you drive and service. Some cars make 300tkm, others 600 with the same engine.
I already have second TSI engine (no, first one didn't blow up 😀) and don't have to rev it hard to drive around city. More, the optimal range when you have highest torque is between 2000 and 3000 RPM.
I am far from convincing someone to buy any car with downsized engine over some V6 or V8, but for everyday use these motors are not that bad as you can find in opinions around the net.

@@m4ci3j88 you lucky then, let's meet in 24 years, i am curious.... then talk how your tsi is doing.. i got 1.9tdi 81kw at 524000 km.... it's 24yo and i got that car for 6 years and only changed time belt when i bought it and brakes... i only tank diesel and changing oil regulary.. thats all... there is lot of pressure for your small engine from your turbo and so... how old your engines are? Also had toyota camry with 1m km, 140hp 2.0 gti and 170hp 2.5 V6 mazdas and pushed at 7-8k rpm whenever i wanted and still alive and they were 20+ years old.. same with old bmw 320... they immortal... keep dreaming to get there with your 3 cylinder tsi... new cars worth chit.. quality of engine or body... for 5-6 years max.. my friends who bought cars after 2009 are in service every week... clutch, turbo, dpf... i don't need it, i don't want car after 2006... 2011 cars have more rust on body than my 20+years old audi.. i need to buy newer, because is too old for technical inspection, got the money saved for it, but i don't trust any, i trust my car which get me anytime anywhere... i am really worried about buying todays cars. Well new car is new car, but how long will it will last. Is it worth it? All my friends says, keep it, don't sell it, while they have newer cars :D Can't be with it forever, as they couldn't, but they still jealous with my car, because they already know theirs schit. Friend of mine got 1.2 TSI and after 70.000km he's constantly in service. If your engine will pass 200k km without service except oil change, then come back and talk...... About load i meant... When i bought 2.5L GTI V6, i was with friend with 1.3L Skoda, who brought me there... On the way back he went full throttle 130-140km and i barely had my foot on 1/4 of trottle in 5th gear. He used more fuel than me, because my engine was almost iddling. And don't calculate just RPMS, if you floor your tsi, doesnt matter what rpm, your turbo and electronics will make lot of pressures to your small overboosted engine even at low rpms to drain more power from it. I am going for 3.0tdi audi and quattro, as i am living in hills... I can't imagine 3 cyl. power saw to handle it here.

look turbo was always what i wanted in my petrol car... in 2000 they were rare, i had much respect, i wished i had some... with lazy diesels turbo make miracles... with petrol engines twice... was driving 2L turbo Volvo, which was not bad, but expected more as well as from 1.8T from vw, audi. My dream was turbo petrol engine.. But not this way... 1.0 3cyl and so lol..... I better go turbo diesel V6 or atmospheric petrol V8 lol

    • @m4ci3j88
      @m4ci3j88 3 года назад +5

@@tommietolan 200 Nm right from 2000 RPM, specs similar to non-turbo cars with 1.6-1.8 from the past. I had 2018 polo with 1.0 tsi 95 hp and I was quite pleased with highway performance, on german highway I was keeping constant 150-160 without problems (though I wasn't speeding when it wasn't allowed). Golf has better sound isolation and 110 engine has more vroom so you should be satisfied.
