Baroque music refers to the period or dominant style of Western classical music composed from about 1600 to 1750. The term "baroque" comes from the Portuguese word barroco, meaning "misshapen pearl".The works of Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel and Johann Sebastian Bach are considered the pinnacle of the Baroque period. Other key composers of the Baroque era include Domenico Scarlatti, Johann Pachelbel, Arcangelo Corelli, and others.

Baroque is better by far than all rock music 🎤 🎧 🎶 🗿 🪨
You'd be surprised if you listened to Deep Purple or other rock artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen among others how much some rock and metal bands are influenced by baroque.

Actually the MOST baroque of all rock bands were The Left Banke. Check out thier songs Pretty Ballerina, I've Got Something On My Mind, Bartarters And Thier Wives, and Walk Away Renee for a start. You will find the most beautiful and seamless blend of the baroque and Rock & Roll. So much so, that some music critics in thier day (1966-1968) labeled thier music "Baroque & Roll".
