Precision steel tube cold drawing process

At the right is a moving mandrel inside the pipe to control its inner diameter, and a die to go through by the pipe to control outer diameter. The clamp grabs the end of the pipe and start to draw it. After the pipe goes through the die, it will turn smaller in diameter. The process is called cold-drawing.
Pay attention, the end of the pipe is machined/processed to make the diameter smaller, for the convenience of the clamp grabbing it.
