Greetings from Polish friends met in Tjentište 😉
It's always great to connect with friends from different parts of the world!
Pozdravi! It's always nice to meet good people!
Having been spoiled by silicone tending not to stick to anything whatsoever, I made a rather important polyurethane mold, that encased eight sla-printed, hand-finished masters, without a release agent ...rather painful way of learning that polyurethane is an EXCELLENT adhesive.
Probably my most expensive paperweight to date 😂
We are so sorry that happened. If you ever have question please reach out to our technical support team. They can help you if you ever have any questions. www.smooth-on.com/support/ticket/add/agree/
Dear Smooth-on, would you please consider making a video demonstrating TASK 4 cast into a sword with realistic dimensions, especially blade thickness? It would be great if it included a handling and stress test
Thank you
That's a great suggestion. I will add it to our project list. Is there a specific model you would like to see? Thank you for the suggestion.
My problem is that I absorb information about techniques and materials, think I have it down pat, then the actual process doesn't go the way I envisioned and I panic then muddle through and hope it comes out right in the end. I started small, with things like radio knobs etc. and actually made my way up to prop hands using Dragon Skin with flock and pigments. I could still use some lessons in 'successful' two part moulds that don't result in loads of flash.
Milo has some wonderful tips and information in these two videos that might help you out. ruclips.net/user/liveIcbDJN8wXss ruclips.net/user/liveKCS_IsZ5HnU
How do you fix up a sticky undercured mold? Improper mixing...
Can it be added to or is it ruined?
HELP😩 please....🙏

Can this be used to make a mould of your body? For example, I want to make a seat out of carbon fibre that is shaped to my body for extra support. Is that possible with your products?
