Hi @eightysixed reviews, I am new to collecting action figures and i do came across some figures having stiff joint and some loose joints (mostly in Dragon Ball Figures). Any recommendation for shock oil or joint stiffener???🙂🙂
For loosening joints I use oil for BB guns. It’s not as thick and comes with a needle like nozzle applicator making it easy for joints. For stiffening joints floor polish is the way to go! Pledge I believe is the brand everyone uses!
@@dzakidj3328 Did you watch the video and hear all of the squeaking in the joints? I bet there are already stress marks on the plastic. My Mafex and Storm Collectibles figures are the only ones I hit with oil before posing them. I love Mafex but let's be real here. They have their issues too.
@@dzakidj3328The accessories, faces and painting of the marvel legends are superior, the only thing that mafex wins in is in joints and the difference is not that much either
The only thing I hate about this is is the dull colors! It would make me look up videos just to add some light & dark shades in him? The First Avenger deserves more respect than that! 🫡
The whole shield thing, a prime example of overengineering. Sometimes Mafex just goes full-German. Definitely could've been done with one shield, and take that extra plastic from the budget to give them a throwing/shield deflecting effect - like hasbro.
Me too, the MCU version looks much better, even though MAFEX did not give bicep swivel to the Stealth Suit and Classic Suit version of Evans' Cap and just made the single elbow joints rotate.
The shields were an unfortunate fumble
Good ole matte spray to keep that paint from getting rubbing off
The 20th anniversary ML Cap is the best one till now without a doubt
Mafex fig are more subtil than Hasbro, like their starwars line. The only thing i dislike is the low quantity of different models.
What kind of floor polish did u use? I use every method but the waist on my copy keeps poping off very easily
Thanks for another great review! I have the same issue with the waist joint popping off. Did floor polish solve the problem for you?
Yeah, it’s tighter and doesn’t come out as easily
the lower part of my face looks gray, am I seeing badly ?
Your voice sounded a lot like Justin Collection. Are you guys the same person??
Brothers from another mother!
Not bad❤
Great release from Mafex 🔥

For stiff joints..dipped the figure in warm water for 10-20 minutes..
For loose joints, buy kiki joint

I dunno, I still think I like that Legends better.
You’re buggin
Same, this works for an earlier version of Cap for me. The Legends actually looks imposing.
Yeah agreed, at least in terms of aesthetics. In the side-by-side the Legends version looks more visually appealing imo
😅 yeah, when they compared to each other, to my surprise, my eyes lean towards legends more it's a rare occasion to me i guess i can save more 😂
@heeroyuy809 to be fair that Legends Cap costs just about as much on the secondary market as the Mafex lol!
Use the marvel select cap shield, it fits better.
I’ve seen him holding Mjiolnir
That’s a good one!
He doesn’t hold it he wields it… 😂
Not bad, but the legends cap is better 🗿
Nah, the quality of the plastic on mafex is superior. The articulation is smoother, the proportion is top notch on mafex

I prefer a figure that’s a bit stiff out the package instead of a loose marvel legends figure 😅. Shock oil does wonders
@@s2knightryder Agreed. To be fair I can't remember the last Legends figure that was loose out of the package
This and the select captain america are both arguably the best captain america figures

Man I wish they’d re-do cyclops. The newer proportions and sculpts look so much better now than what we got with him

11:38 You'd be better off gluing the strap in place, then just popping the arm off to take it on and off 😆
I thought about that actually, might be the way to go
I wish the blue section on the chest went down just a bit more, feels like it ends too early on the torso
It’s based on Jack Kirby’s design. The stripes ride a bit higher up.
@@s2knightryder i think is more steranko Captain America
cool ,like
Yes.
is this the best 6 inches of your life
Man only problem is I hate the old designs of most superheros. This included

Well you’re clearly not really a comic fan, then. Probably one of these kids that think modern woke comics are great. Fuck that.
@@TamerChrisSame to you.
Shame on you haha
That’s a subjective thing. Comic Cap for me always looked better than MCU.
