Simple small things mean a lot like you said... my asawa sends me a good morning txt every day for when I wake up and it really makes the start of my day special!
Every single point you made is spot on. I would put being faithful in the top 3. Integrity, Honesty & Respect are paramount. Without those traits forget about it. I speak with experience as Julie and I have been in a long distance relationship for a few years now. Thank god for face time. She works as an OFW in HK while I'm in Australia. But we both made a commitment to each other because we are in love. One day we will share our incredible journey. As it is a tale of love that most could not, would not endure. So alot of it comes from the person you are and the values you live by. Great subject matter guys.
That had to be a difficult time, glad you guys found ways to make it work! Communication is key and sometimes culture, age and language differences can present some challenges, so patience is also important. You know your vlog is doing good when you start to pick-up the haters and negative comments! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
New sub, I’m back in Manila after over two years with my girl. Communication is the key in a LDR, if your into partner …it’s pretty easy to make time. Western guys that have found a great Filipina are truly blessed, they are true diamonds…feminine, sexy and caring. Good luck guys.
You & Rachel are truly the exception and not the rule(norm). You both define what true love is. True love is honesty, as well as sacrifice. God Bless You Both Always.
YES! I agree with all what you said. Its good to be honest all the time. Trying to tell him/ her what you do and where to go will make each one not to worry! Good!
Great advise, recently discovered your channel and going through the vlogs, my Filipina Fiancé and I were separated from February 21 to July 22 due to Covid (we only thought it would be a few months) and did most of the things in this vlog, daily communication, video calls and messages is key, it was hard at times, but we made it through. She has now been back in Australia for the last 6 months and we are doing great.
What a beautiful video , I am in love with a Filipina woman I am in Canada , and it is diffucult to get a visa for her to visit, she is also , separated from her husband for years but cannot get her annulment . I relate to everything you said and it was very touching and truthful , God Bless you.
It isn't easy to make a long distance relationship work, I'm glad you were able to do it. Good luck and I hope you have many more years together ahead of you.
You said it as I was thinking it. Your courtship was during covid so waited longer then should. My first marriage it was a year before I saw my wife. I did not get a chance to go back during the waiting period. Hopefully this time around wont be the same. I plan to visit more often, but I think marriage in Philippines is better. Means more to them and their family then I think it does for Americans. Some Filipinas think it is their sole purpose to marry and take care of the spouse.
It would work, because they're both honest, calm, simple, caring and raised well by parents and loving. I wish you all the best! Love from Cebu Philippines.
Let this be a lesson to all. If your committing yourself to a relationship here, commit to getting some kind of residency visa here. I'm sure most had no clue, but prepare for the worst and hope for the best at all times for a LDR. Luckily I got mine right before lockdowns and was able to travel back and forth the entire time. But, the cost has double, triple, quadrupled at times. Goodluck to all dealing with this and if you don't have a residency visa yet, get one now.
Agree with most of what u said, in the end communication will be key, so that u and ur partner agree on what works for u both…..my wife and I vid chat everyday….Morning and afternoon…..it’s not easy, and definitely need to put some effort into the relationship
I been 2018. 3 years with my partner..she philippina. But she lives in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 it's hard sometimes for us but we talk everyday. We are just waiting for paper work now. Yes gifts 🎁 lots of pictures.
Hey! New sub from the Badcrayons.... Great video and advice. We went through some lengthy time apart as well. Its all about how much you care about your loved one, instead of yourself. Were at 5 years together now... Were moving back to the Philippines, Eastern Samar specifically. This coming March. We still need to find land yet though, so it will be awhile before we can build our house. Maybe you could do a video on your experience acquiring land, build permits, etc. Great channel. We await new content. Take care.. Neil & Emely
I hear good things about Eastern Samar but never been myself. Look for land as soon as you get there. Land cost keeps going up and rumor has it that Gods not making anymore of it lol. Yes that's a topic I could do. I still have videos of the other properties we looked at.
When you said it was important to "make time for each other," I had to shake my head because many women here in the States have said they want a guy to not be predictable, i.e., don't call her every day...I was like, WTF? I understand don't text every hour every day, but I thought it was nice to contact her at least once a day. But evidently, Western women need to be put "off-balance" once in awhile so they don't get bored by your "predictability." Jesus, you can't make this stuff up.
My girl and I got lucky we both live and work in Canada , but we will come back to the Philippines soon i hope , when the covid crap stops too so we can pass back and forth easily, great video thanks guys from Trevor and May
Good video. Since you guys are married I guess tracking each other is a good thing... In a girlfriend type relationship guys don't update your gf on your every movement she need to be on her toes.
Went long distance after living with ex for a year it was rough i became very very needy and our communication was terrible both ends but we recently started talking more a month after the breakup still dont know if we would get together but ive learned to love myself a little more and also went back to doing my hobbies so if we ever in the same continent again at least we might meetup but for now the 17hr time diffrerence and my maturity did not help us at the time.
Love the channel guys! I am in a long distance relationship as well and am considering moving to where she lives . What are the details of your 5 year plan to get ready to move to another country? U guys are awesome!!🎉
@@ItsMe_Philippines I bet I have been dating a amazing girl that lives in Mexico for 3 years now , and I own my own company and make decent money but really wanna get away from the stress and ultimately move there, I’m going to be 41 next week so I was like wow . We have common stories 😀
Hope to find someone as well🤔i been talking random guys but they are just scammers at the end after all wasting my time having sleepless night just to talk to him its frustrating.
Lovely couple. Hey brother, I have a question on sending packages to the Philippines from the states. So what's the procedure and what is the best way? What company do you recommend? Also how long does it take to get to the Philippines? Please let me know because I'm in the same situation.
@@ItsMe_Philippines what I mean is that Filippino women can be very jealous. Mine would be jealous of the females I worked with at a hospital, especially when they call me about work-related stuff.
