Downtown canton aka Lil Mexico 😂 this place is nothing like the video. All us born and raised here wish the building would have quit years ago. All the newcomers coming in ruined it for us all. Now we live in a traffic jam.

I spent close to 3 decades there.Dont hate it.But it's pretty much impossible to miss.Came for the building boom in the 80's.Stayed entirely too long.I just can't spend time with people who have never left their echo chamber.The entire culture is all kin of kin of friend of a kin of a kin of a friend of a kin.I could handle it in my youth.I just can't handle listening to the same gene pools over and over anymore.It served its purpose.The old expression is true... "Ya have to figure out what doesn't work before you can figure out what does".

First time to Canton I seen 3 vehicles coming up to exit 19. 1990, 7200 population, when I left in 2016 23,000 people and can't drive without traffic. Oh and little Mexico is still a mess.

I live in Canton. Don't move here what ever you do. It sucks. Just don't. It's a horrible idea. Move literally anywhere else. Also, Cherokee County Schools are horrible. They are the greediest bunch I've ever seen. Sure they have Laptops for students (at one school, TMS) but other than that they waste it. And a couple other things, traffic is HORRIBLE. It's the worst I've ever seen in my entire life and even if you can handle that, there is nothing to do. You can see/do everything in Canton in a day. The crime rate is horrible. Just move to Ellijay, GA or just pick a different area. As far as the economy goes, economy? What's that?
