I mean this has got to be the most genius way to make the most money possible. If you think about it everyone there is basically constantly spending money, if your going for the rides you have to pay a ton of money per ride, but because the lines are short you can go a ton of times and spend even more money. For people who go for food and shopping, again you can go around and spend money the whole time. And the goal of keeping people out of lines so they can spend more money is perfected with this system. With that being said as a consumer I’d hate spending so much money here😂
I mean its basically the Bumbly Bazaar scenario from Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 dialled up to 11. Just you, in the middle of the desert, with a court full of food and souvenir stalls, and having the goal of massively expand food and merch sale profits and build rides to attract customers that can spend money in the shops.
If you like Global Village in Dubai you will like Boulevard World in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. it is quite similar to Global Village but with more activities to do and, there’s a major coaster over there. It is now open with even more countries and more new activities to do than last year
The theming there is on a Universal Studios level and it got the world's biggest artificial man made lake and replica Las Vegas dome and the world’s only travelling skyrocket 2
@@CoasterStudios believe it or not most of the rides there are owned by the people who own Fantasy Island in the UK the Mellors group and they also ran Global Village from 2013 until 2017 and currently running Lusail Winter Wonderland
Oh my. God. I was there. 2007. I don’t know if that was here or if it was at the old location as you said. But you brought it all back. I remember the Egypt area I bought a scarab. I was eight. I want to go back now.
We went here in January, sensory overload and I’ve never seen so many taxis in one place when we were leaving. We DID do the stunt show, if anyone is planning a visit - this is an absolute MUST. It is an up charge but it’s not expensive. I’d say it was easily on par with Waterworld at Universal. SO GLAD we went 😀
The inexpensive entry ticket makes the guest mix very diverse and democratic. Great place to experience and chat with people from around the world. The rides are not the point here.
If I were to visit the UAE, I'm not sure I'd visit this park. It doesn't look to have anything that stands out like all the other UAE parks, and every ride it does have looks like something I can ride back in America.
if you're prioritizing big roller coasters then yes this is not as high priority as maybe some of the other parks. But as a theme park EXPERIENCE, this is one of the best in the area
How you managed to use that camera in the park? That is definitely not a mobile device/phone. UAE is strict af that they don’t allow Nikon cameras for filming and only allow phones to film with.
@@CoasterStudios ahh alright. I filmed some rides there but they aren’t really the best, they are just trying very hard to be like a fairground in Europe but fails miserably.
The America Pavilion is hilarious. I wouldn't buy anything there because it seems painfully accurate to how we convince ourselves that our food, government, and overall history are somehow 'Okay' 😅. Everything else, sensory overload in the best way 👍🏾
I mean its very accurate to how the rest of the world sees the US. Its always one of 4 stereotypes. Wildwest/Texas cowboy bbq stuff Hollywood moviestar in sunny LA Grimey and Bombastic New York City Or the neon lights and gambling of Las Vegas!
Complaining about the american pavillion not being on par with other countries pavillions is just.... Do you not realize USAs role in the middle east?! Maybe if you did not set the place on fire all the time your pavillion would look a tad bit nicer lol
It has nothing to do with the U.S's influence in the Middle East. The reason why is because the U.S is a very diverse country where there's no one defining culture.
Definitely on my bucket list to visit!

So what you are saying is that parks should find ways to make more money off of people while they are waiting in lines.

To be fair it really looks like a more complete version of World Showcase and I love it
We need Sarah’s RMC coaster ranked since you did them all after the trip!
Definitely a political undertone to the amount of money and effort spent on those facades. 😂
When I went to Global Village, I got the highest number of flips of the day on the Sky Fly, and the ride operators awarded me another ride for free!
lol the Americas got me laughing so hard 😂

Most people who live in the emirates go to the global village at least 2-4 times a year. You can’t see it all in one day.
