    I still watch an episode almost every night on Netflix as I'm winding down to fall asleep. It gives me hope and comfort. Voyager is still my favorite.

    i was one of those kids that grew up watching Voyager. In my eyes that is the best star trek series that has ever been made.

    Star Trek was so big years ago. Even in my chilhood DS9 and VOY were such a great success.
    What a pity it`s all gone.

      @Manadiart I would about Voyager, DS9 and TNG. They are all huge on the streaming services, STD on the other hand is nothing more than an insult to that Hope for a better future. It is a dystopian failure that is far removed from the ideas of the original shows, which I again stress are kicking the ever loving poop out of the new series, They need Bermin.

      @@DiscipleToki You want Rick Berman back? Yikes! DSC may not be great, but Berman is not the guy to make it better!

    Wow, 20 years ago! Look at all those people. Even Dr. McCoy! Wonder if Scotty was there. Sally Kellerman is still going strong. She just turned 80 yesterday, 06-02-17.

    I totally agree! :)
    I have been a trekkie all my life and I loved voyager so much,but Hated the ending!
    I think that the new film is going to kill Star trek
    once and for all and there is no way that I am going to see that film! It will make star trek into
    just another Stupid teenage remake!

    @artistdeterminedmsv I'd love to see a series, where the captain and a few crewmen are the children of Riker, Troy, 7, Janeway, Paris. Something like that

    Great to see but so many key people are not shown.....like Kirk, Spock, Picard, Sisko (in fact there's no one from DS9 at all). Instead we get people who were in ONE episode? Get serious!

    I wish these interviews were an hour long or so. Such a rare opportunity. Then we probably would have seen actors that we didn't see in this clip. Sally Kellerman looked really great.

    You are right about the fact that I am at some point
    going to see this movie,but not before i can get it
    cheap on dvd.I simply hate all those remake films
    so much,all the movies and tv-shows that I loved
    as a child are being remade into sometning so
    stupid,that even those stupid teenagers who the remakes are made for are going to hate them.
    first they destroyed Star wars and now they wil
    kill star trek,and I am not going to reward them
    fo doing that by buying a ticket to the cinema.

    No Gene Roddenbery, = No Star Trek .. So lets pay homage to the "Creator of Star Trek" The only sequel that SUCKED, was "Enterprise" That sucked donkey balls!! What a disgrace to the world of Star Trek!! Thank God for JJ Abrams, for breathing new life into Star Trek!! Like it or not, Mr. Abrams has made "Star Trek " have new life!!

      Gene rodenberry would have loved Enterprise. it was before all the holodeck bullshit and transporting from anywhere, it was raw and powerful. Story driven and poignant. Seeing all the technology it its infancy and how they learned to make first contacts, You should try it again. Its by far my favorite

    ST Voyager had potential. It was ruined by the female captain. Worst star trek series of all.

    • @leonb7043
      @leonb7043 8 лет назад +12

      goagăl minus I think it's opposite ! Kate mulgrew made it epic

    • @irasthewarrior
      @irasthewarrior 8 лет назад +1

      Leon B When women are involved, the whole action is dumbed down to fit them. See Ghostbusters 2016 for instance. And Voyager is no exception. The whole plot is based on a woman's emotions, and not logical and rational thinking, and that shallow ending with Janeway returning from the future with that armor is just dumb.

    • @leonb7043
      @leonb7043 8 лет назад +3

      goagăl minus I have to agree the ending was wrapped up too quickly and ghostbusters with kristen wiig was unnecessary! however the voyager plot really began to become surprisingly good in season 4 and 5 so you really can't label a show just because the main character is a woman ! The episodes with ethical and moral dilemmas were almost perfect !

    • @irasthewarrior
      @irasthewarrior 8 лет назад

      Leon B Even the borg is shallow in those two seasons because of the "queen". The borg collective doesn't seems to be so dangerous because oh her. Borg could have much greater potential, but it was dumbed down to fit a female mind. The plot is based on female emotions, and not rational thinking. The prime directive tells it's not the federation place to get involved in other cultures, unless they're willing to ask for help. Nerdy talk :)

      goagăl minus "dumbed down to a female mind" Ugh ! looks like you're still living 50s 😒
