In the second interview, don't wait for their questions, and start explaining everything. I explained why I didn't get the visa first time and why I deserve it. I had travel history and scholarship.

Is it ok to say "my employer is funding my studies now but las time I was using personal funds?" Or do I say "l got funding from my employer" and if they ask why didn't they fund you last time?

In my particular case I don’t see any reason why they’d refuse my spouse immigrant visa and they did! Sometimes you see cases where some people definitely needs to be refused and they get approved and the other way around! I think in some cases the interviewer in a bad mode and just refuses!

No, they don't tell you exactly why you were refused; the reason (214b pink slip) is generic and it is the same thing given to most applicants if not all as a reason for refusal

It is possible, but you need to have a holistic strategy based on your entire case situation. The first step is figuring out why you likely got refused and making a plan from there. If the travel history isn't the root of your refusal, then it won't matter. Depending on your situation it may not be enough, but it will vary based on your situation. Bro what I heard is, if you show the intention of staying after your studies then you’re considered a burden. And this stay is especially guaranteed if you disclose any relatives staying in USA. Just be clear. “I intend to come back to my home country after my studies” and if they ask about relatives just say no. I hope this finds you in time

@@alcibiadns Yes I booked in regular and went for interview. If you are not finding any appointments in refusal category, you can book in regular. It worked for me and my friend. However it is not recommended.

Once I applied F1 visa and got refused in Pakistan, now I’m in Saudi Arabia and applied B1/B2 visa to attend a conference.
Do my previous refusal matters even it’s has been 6 to 7 years and also I’m applying for different category.
