@@EmilyMackeyArt 14:56 try using shop towels instead of paper towels. They absorb the paint off brush and although expensive for a roll, (buy in bulk) it saves money in long run. Really good for cleaning brush when painting

You can do it! It's definitely a more complicated painting for sure, but if you dont step out of your comfort zone, you'll never learn to paitn the things that you find intimidating. GO FOR IT!
I love how dream like your paintings feel like a faded memory I love it! How did you like the Georgian oil paints? I was thinking about trying oil paints and thos looked like a good set to start out with.
I honestly really liked them for a starter set. My only complaint is that the pigmentation of the yellow and red out pretty low, so when mixing the blue tends to really over power stuff. But you can totally accommodate for that by just adding more of the blue and the red as needed. I absolutely LOVED the consistency of these paints though. I didn’t need to use any medium at all. I would totally recommend them to people who want to give oils a shot but don’t want to invest too heavily yet.
Did you say that you don't use any linseed oil/oil to mix in your oils? Do you find that you use more oil pants if you don't and are they tougher to work with?

As much as I love your paintings.... I only do acrylic and would love more of it.... And I will do try oils someday.... Someday
