    Dannazione che talento! That was one of the best Namm 2020's demo and of course, this is why Yamaha, is Yamaha.. :-)

    Dr. Mix (mix of fun and joy). Caravan, from your organ days probably. Wow, you got some cool sounds out of it! Thanks for the madness. From the Ultra Famous Piano Riff collection.

    Does it have a sample-section like the Nord Electro 6D has?

    • @marvinkmooneyoz
      @marvinkmooneyoz 4 года назад +1

      no library to download, but they have more multi-sampled sounds, whereas Nord, outside of the main keyboard sounds, uses single sample, even for keyboard sounds like celeste and glockenspiel, I'm pretty sure

    90% of good sound comes from good playing, the rest from the skill of the player ;-)

    How deep is the synth engine?

  • @jml7916
    @jml7916 5 лет назад +1

    If only they would add that organ engine and leslie to the MODX/Montage. I bet the internal engine is pretty much the same.

    • @dynoroad
      @dynoroad 4 года назад

      The engines are completely different, one is sampling based and the other is modeled at the circuitry level.

    • @jml7916
      @jml7916 4 года назад

      @@dynoroad but are they. The MODX and Montage also share the same hardware as the Genos and some others. And the FM-X engine suggests the hardware is capable of "modelling". It is software based and I can think of several ways that the MODX engine could be used to "Model" an organ combining the processing power of the control chip and and DSP/Sound engine.

      @@jml7916 It seems to me like you're very technically inclined, so perhaps it's best if you ask Toshifumi Kunimoto (Dr. K) of Yamaha and hope he can give you a good explanation.

    This is yamaha's new vintage organ, I think he is not the right person to demo this keyboard as it did not show the true capability of organ section. He talks too much more than the skills. Just sayin'
