    Do you know if the battery is permanently secured with destructive adhesive like the G8 or easily pried off like the V30?

    Good job man even I was a late comer. I noticed over the last couple day my back cover keeps slightly popping up at the top left angle next to the flash. Please what's your suggestion? I'd really appreciate your help

    What about modding like putting an bigger rom drive from 64 to 128gb?
    I would love to do this with my LG v40 V405TAB T-mobile. Also is there any way to unlock this phone even with modding the hardware to an V405UA motherboard ? 😲
    Nice to know that you can replace the USB charger dock type C port tied to an flex cable plug.
    No info how to replace the phone battery?

    Great video Jose. I have an LG V40 phone that is only 4 months old. The microphone doesnt work on calls (very muffled) so I can only talk if I'm on Speakerphone. Does this part with charging port have the mic attached to it as well? Thanks

    Is the battery glued in permanently? If yes that would be a shame.

    There are few scratches on my lg v40. How much will it cost me to repair it. Can anyone tell me? Will it still be water resistant?

      if you mean on the back panel, should be about 20.00 or so, but they are not available yet, probably in a few more months, the front glass will be a lot more, around 100.00 or so, and would require a full tear down, id advise just taking it somewhere unless you are expericed at phone repair if its the front panel, i see a few front panels listed on ebay etc.

    This is a great video but is there any way to just replace the Glass?

    • @Brieepy
      @Brieepy 5 лет назад +1

      Phones like this, the LCD screen won't survive a disassembly, so you would probably need an LCD and glass replacement, and then you'd still need the double sided tape to reseal the housing.
