As to the silver trucks on the Metra cars, when I worked there, they were painted in the spring and fall. These cars and the MP36's are welcome additions.
I can't wait for the MP36. Glad that you guys are putting them in the clamshell again. Hope this will be your standard from now on. I thought the screw idea was stupid and a waste of money.
Have either one you of guys thought about the possibity of doing an HO model of an sd18, I know it was not a big seller, but DM&IR, Bessmer had them and C&O had them. And i would think that Atlas has an in,being that you already have the Alco Tri Mount truck models of the RSD4/5s.
Please please please tool up for the FM H16-66, your H24 shell is the best out there! I think there were roughly 3X more H16-66’s made then the U28CG, and I have four of those, and I will order at least 12 of your H16-66’s the minute you announce them! Everything else has been done! We are literally being inundated with “fantasy” schemes from “Black Bonnet” steam engines on-! Time to ramp up the H24 and introduce the H16-66 before we get a BNSF H24-66 fantasy scheme
The ROCO EMD's and KATO Alco's were groundbreaking models in the mid 70's. I still run examples of both. They still sell for greater than original MSRP on the secondary market.
Florida Gulf & Atlantic isn't owned by RailAmeria. It's owned by Gulf & Atlantic Railways which also owns Camp Chase Railroad, Chesapeake & Indiana Railroad, Grenada Railroad and Vermilion Valley Railroad. RailAmerica was acquired by Genesee & Wyoming in 2012 and hasn't existed in going on 12 years. York Railway was previously owned by Emons Industries, Inc which also owned the two divisions of the St Lawrence & Atlantic, Emons was purchased by G&W in 2002 about 22 years ago. York Rail has been part of the orange borg for a long time.
Wait a minute. Weaver had two rail E units in O scale and they would do 30” radius curves and fixed pilots. Are you saying you can’t do now what Weaver did twenty years ago? Well, I’ll convert them myself. Maybe I can hope for a rerun of the two rail MP-15s. Can’t find them at all nowadays.
Atlas's Achilles Heel remains its use of cheap, poorly designed AccuMate couplers which simply don't work and can uncouple on downgrades. For the price we pay for models these days, we deserve better than these two-cent monstrosities.
Very educational and interesting. Thanks for doing a great job interviewing Tony.

What about the older lines
Nice cars for the money, great value.
I'm still waiting for my preorder 10-1-1 cars in Pullman green.
How about RJ Corman switchers
The GP38 in the American scheme will somehow end up in my roster!
I got to have those N Scale GP-40s in YN2.

Please add Closed Caption to these videos.
I'd like to see Atlas make S scale Rail...
What are we going to do if Tony ever retires? He's everywhere, a great publisher and streamer.
Do a #10 turnout in True Track and I’ll happily swap to it (currently Atlas code 55 user)!
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
50-60 bucks street price and you can’t just use actual Kadees. Cheap

I still like kitbash and scratch building
Damn I wish the purple on the MBTA unit was a little bit darker. I hated the pinkish color you guys use.
“I just want to talk about O scale for one sec”
Really? That’s all we get? Wow.
Man need more O Scale 3 Rail would love some pink potash cars
Please more two-rail O-Scale ( especially E and F units)!
Love Atlas O scale gauge
Sad thing is and even you are a good customer of that brand and asking for a tiny plastic part to fix a car ,you have to paid again ,wow .

Was thinking the same thing
So nothing of any significance to me…..
