Krista killin it with the jokes today 🤣
Holy shit I’ve been watching your videos every now and then over the past 7 years. Y’all look like you got more healthy! Righteous!
Well, I'm sure The Lone Star Tick that bit Wendell, and has now made him allergic to meat and protein... and also making him sensitive to other things (and sugar) forcing him to change his whole life around (and basically learn to eat again).... was all worth it now that wrote this comment! lol. :P
The inspirational small lifestyle changes that single event inspired to those around him.... yes, they too can now read your comment and thank god for that Mutant Lone Star Tick that scrambled Wendell's DNA and made him a real-life X-Men.... except less cool, as Wendel's mutant power is almost dying when he eats large amounts of meat! 🤣 lmao.
Seriously though, I agree - they look so much healthier now. Kidding aside, they have lost weight in the last few years, and started making healthier choices (the Tick thing really happened tho).
Damn thanks for the weight loss lore. I also have noticed Wendell is looking good and has lost a lot of face fat (I mean this in nice way)
Ai😉
8:06 Utopic is a real word, don’t gaslight Wendell 😅
I find it a good rule of thumb that whenever a company publicly admits to a data leak that the reality is always ten times worse than the press release lets on.
"We recently learned" = we've known for months
"It appears some customer data was leaked" = all the customer data was leaked. All of it.
"This affects a small amount of users" = everyone that has ever used this service is affected
"Nothing sensitive was compromised" = sensitive info was absolutely compromised
and so on.
10:51 - Microsoft said I could not upgrade my Intel NUC to Windows 11 because it has a 7th Gen I7 and Microsoft won't support it. It is now a very small and quick running Linux box.
Federal government will never switch to Linux. Asking 2.87 million federal employees to make the switch from Windows to Linus would be problematic!
That identity theft story is a TNG Riker episode script come to life.
Imagine working for two years only to be undone by some random guy noticing SSH being 500ms slower while benchmarking unrelated software... Goddamn nerds ruining all my hard work!
So you have never worked with a DB Dev then.
I work in IT Security and Architecture and will always look into why a SSH connection or command takes longer then normal.
I work for a small local wireless ISP and we would love to even get access to that government funding but the way you have to go about it is so convoluted and has so many hoops to jump through the smaller you are as an isp we just simply can't afford to even try qualifying. My company would love to reinvest back in our local area and help rural catch up on speeds but it's extremely challenging.
That's by design, sadly. "The Best Government Money Can Buy™" 😿
ISP's whining about net neutrality being revived because "they already follow the rules" is like a child who hasn't been known to stay out too late yet getting a curfew. You don't put up guard rails after the bad thing happens. You put them up before so it never does. This and the broadband story prove that we need a public option for internet access. That's competition.
Internet is an essential utility should be treated same as water and power.
@@nogravitas7585 If you're saying all three should be publicly owned and operated, I agree. Currently not even water or power in many places are, unfortunately. Look at the Texas blackouts that killed all those people a few years back.
I just got scammed for $$$$ by fraudulent Bank scam and my bank said it was me because I entered the mfa code, and they closed the investigation. So I am in battle with the bank.... and I am in the IT field profession.... Happens to us all! Infuriating!!!! Anyways, Great show as always! Keep it up!
Best of luck to you
The xz coverage was kind of a letdown here. Would love to watch Wendell dissect the payload and various stages.
I have a friend who is a CSO and he told me not to use Azure a couple years ago. He didn’t say why, but this is probably it.
Oh WOW Kame House! Is Ryan playing the part of Krillen?
Probably master roshi, he just doesn't have his shell on
@@justahologram2230 Could very well be. I'm still trying to decide if Krista is Bulma or not...and who Wendell should be.
@@dualbeardedtech is Bulma or Launch the better option? As for Wendell Turtle?
@@justahologram2230wendell would be yajirobi😂
@@justahologram2230 nah, Launch is to ditzy. I can def see Krista getting pissed off enough to punch Vageta! Lol
L1 Show is like a quenching your thirst in your mind.
Let's go! Level1 Show!
16:25 For those wondering, the quake happen in the Ramapo fault zone in Whitehouse Station NJ, ~42 miles from NYC. This was the largest quake to hit this fault zone, at 4.8, since 1783 (the largest was 5.3). Some scientists fear that this fault zone might be able to produce earthquakes that are normally seen in much more active fault zones. For those that wish to panic, there are 2 nuclear power plants within this fault zone, the Limerick Nuclear Power Plant and the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant.
The prison table thing is just a money grab, locally prisoners are charged $10 an hour to " rent" the tablets
The person from the thumbnail looks like Rampart from Apex Legends 😂
Good morning
Consider what The Document Foundation could (potentially) do if Germany paid/donated Office 365 subscription money, to TDF and the libre office project!
utopic
adjective
Seeming to originate in utopia; utopian.
Perfectly good word.
hey, you got some background static, it's very noticeable if you switch to a video that doesn't have it. Are there no audio filters for that?
UTOPIC 2024, you heard it first here at L1 Techs!
A.I. killdozer for the insurance agents
He was modernity's prophet, hail killdozer.
Sounds a lot like Microsoft: "most effective as Office Offender".
8:06: "Utopic" is used in the names of some monster cards in Yu-Gi-Oh!, for example "Number F0: Utopic Future". It's a weird translation, as the original Japanese name is "Hope". It is part of a larger family of cards under the "Utopia" archetype (again, "Hope" in Japanese).
12:52 their phone minutes are charged at... a few magnitudes more than the worst plan you can get outside though.
Can confirm the world has ended
New Madrid is basically just limited to that little KY/TN/MO/AR nook... as far as we know since we've only really had one series of quakes there.
Also engagement.
Monday!!!!!
Hope you find some good stuff in the rubble. I'm dead!😂
Who's wendall taking about? He's been traumatized!
Good morning bros
Love it. Good episode! I hope the alpaca lips didn’t get you.
Wendell's deep in thought had me laughing 0:08 LOL.. My favorite trio!
Wendell talking about fake currency sounds a bit off. I've not noticed or heard of this problem, I will check it out so good to know😊
What we need is less funding for pew pew police, and more funding for investigating police....
You can't solve identify theft with pew pew, so the police can't do anything about it
Woot!
Say hello to Master Roshi for me
@13:50 Twenty dollars??/ Verizon charges EVERYBODY $30+ per gigabyte of extra tethering/hotspot data!!!!
I think 90% of people using word could ise libre office….cause most of the things they do with it is like, write “DONT MICROWAVE FISH, THANK YOU” in 96pt font
I will build one charging station for 500 million
youtube suppressed this video from my feed but not my suggested videos ??? youtube is just too high to function
23:33 poking every (Pooh) bear 🐻 🇨🇳 lol
Eclipse rubble Utopic
Engagement keystrokes ❤
of course the first 3 comments i see, one is a bot selling explicit content.
"Utópico" is portuguese for utopian.... close 😊
Woo Hoo, hey All.
It's not the 8th :)))
Are you guys at the Kame House because you're hiding from the Androids? Because that's like the 2nd place they'll look for.
if nobody wants to say it, I will. **MONDAY AFTERNOON IS NO TIME TO SCHEDULE A REBOOT OF THE GODS-DAMNED SUN**
Well ackchually, it's not rebooted, the wireless connection to it is just briefly interrupted.
Correction the uk mp was gay it was someone xalled Charlie
engagement challenge
Engage!
Biden should give me a billion dollars and I will deliver at least one charging station
\o/
Classic throwaway line "There are no girls on the internet"
there are startups which scrape competitors and sell data, thats how companies "talk" to each other for price fixing
US and UK should separate like church and State 😂
Not going to happen as long as they both have rotschild controlled central banks.
you own us
Actually, in the UK, there is no separation of church and state. The Church of England is the official religion of the UK, and the King is both the head of state and the head of the church.
Damn, can't believe the world ended and I didn't even notice it.
