@@Libertycustom73 No need for such baseless hostility; Mao is likely referring to the fact that Yang does poll consistently higher in many polls, but the DNC only considers very few to be 'qualifying',' and they accepted qualifying polls between mid-Nov to last week, while Yang achieved all qualifying polls necessary this week. This is a presidential run... so much changes over that amount of time. If the DNC had rules that reflected reality as it progresses in real-time, Yang would be on that stage and Steyer & Klobuchar would be the ones in his position. Regardless, Yang's support is the most resilient of them all -- him not being on the stage won't phase anyone.

@@mosandkaka DNC didn't release polls for about 50 days.. In 2015 they released about 20 within that time frame. They collectively did this to Yang because he's a threat to the establishment.

Chuck Michaels yup, they're highly biased and many have a margin of error that's 100% of a candidates polling %. That shows the sample size is too small. Who they poll is also biased, and what counts as approved is determined by a private organization called the DNC. Everything is rigged. To me that's fake.

Polls consistently in 1st/2nd place and looks to do well in the 1st 4 primaries. Seen as the most honest candidate running. A 40 year track record of consistency on maters. Has lead the debate on Medicare for all.

It will just take time for us to adjust to the loss of certain economic sectors. But overall it ultimately means more production at cheaper costs.

@@occamsrazor5376 Bernie's idea for taxing the rich is a wealth tax. Andrew's is a VAT. The problem with a wealth tax is it's inefficient and easy to game. Many other countries have tried it and most have repealed it in favor of a VAT. Both Bernie and Yang gave their hearts in the right place but Andrew's ideas are more realistic and modern.

Perhaps it's due to time pressure, excitement, short term memory loss. (I work for the Registrar of Voters and we see/handle many unsigned ballots.)

Served some time in the USMC and I can assure you that Yang’s leadership is pretty fucking legit.
@@silverpairaducks Andrew has been a leader before of big companies and a non profit so he does have leadership qualities. He's also trained in law so has a good grasp on that and a degree in economics and political science. Andrew has the best ideas that's why I support him, most of the other candidates are running on 20th century solutions partly because they've not lived in the real world with the shifting economy. Andrew has, he freely admits that he lived somewhat in a bubble when he worked as a CEO until he left to start a non profit (he left to start it when the financial crisis hit which shows you what kind of guy he is). He realised that parts of the country weren't being served whatsoever by the current government and realised that the best way to help everyone was a guaranteed minimum income or freedom dividend.

Well, doesn’t make sense to me. The proportion of Americans that actually need 1k/month to “transition” (whatever that even means- what direction are they transitioning) seems to be pretty small. In the next 4 or 8 years do you really thing AI trucks will be replacing truckers. It will take a long time for that technology to become integrated into current society.
Levnerad I get it is unfathomable to think so. How long do you think it will it take? What should the trucker do to prepare?
Besides truckers, how long to replace call center workers, cashiers, bank back office workers, bartenders?....oh wait that is already happening. For now, unemployment benefits might tie some over, some will fall out of the job market, some will be fine. My biggest fear is that they, like many in the manufacturing sector, claim disability and other existing safety nets from which they cant escape. Some just spiraled into despair (addiction, suicide).
Do we wait until its too late or do we try to get ahead of it?

Levnerad Truckers for sure is his goto industry when he is short on time. He mentions all the other occupations in many of his speeches. The studies he cites say the timeframe is more like 5 to 15.
I am mostly repeating his talking points and reasoning that I’ve done some level of personal vetting (i’ll fact check to the best of my ability. This involves taking a look at studies he points to and counter arguments posed by others).

What achievements? All Yang has to do is point at Trump's lack of a wall and mention that record-low "unemployment" doesn't matter much if 55% of the population doesn't work anyways.
green trumps achievements mean nothing to the 70 percent of americans that live paycheck to paycheck, the veterans who are homeless, and the single parents who continuously struggle every day due to our broken safety net. All Yang has to do is point out that he can and will actually help people rather than just say he already did.

The only reason Bernie Bros fear Yang so much is because underneath their Bernie bias, they can see that Yang is better. If you truly thought Yang was a poor choice, you wouldn't see him as such a threat. Yang gang is not voting for Bernie anyway. They know that Yang is a far better candidate. Some people think for themselves and come to their own rational conclusions and aren't persuaded by anyone but the candidate. Rational people don't want another 4 years of Trump. Bernie already lost to Hillary and Hillary was so pathetic that she lost to Trump. Yang has 42% support from independents (larger in numbers than Democrats and Republicans combined) and the highest Republican support. If Democrats want to win, they will vote for Yang, because he will win by a landslide. Don't let the polls fool you. They don't include most of Yang's support.

Even though Andrew Yang was prevented from participating in tonight's debate, and even though he'll never be able to raise as much money as Michael Bloomberg can spend, Andrew Yang needs to stay in the race with his important messages. Andrew Yang is an excellent candidate, and he has got to get his message out there. Keep getting all over the internet, and keep traveling.
Maybe all the folks who didn't get into the democratic debate shouldn't be quitting this presidential race. Perhaps they should be doing their own separate debates, at least through the primary.
What's great about Andrew Yang is his issue-focus, and that's what people care about. He has to keep talking to the people to make it happen. Jimmy Carter did it.

From the first interview I saw of him, I knew he’s the only who hit the nail right on the head in terms of diagnosing a wide range of societal issues. His solution of the Freedom Dividend sounds crazy at first but once you give it some thoughts, it’s clearly the best solution. I can never look at any other candidates the same because they are all just dancing around issues and barely scratching the surface.
America doesn’t appreciate Andrew Yang enough, come to Canada!
