Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. A trader made over $350k in this recession influenced market.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

My advisor is Stephanie Kopp Meeks highly qualified and experienced in the financial market. She has extensive knowledge of portfolio diversity and is considered an expert in the field. I recommend researching her credentials further. She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market.
I am going to look her up, I have about $81k i want to start with, might be small but it's better than nothing though. Since the 08 crash is playing out again.
When I got laid off in December 2008 it was a reality check. I had one job and one hobby. Now I have my old job back, the hobby became a home business, and I have regular side gigs that cover my everyday costs. I put 18% of my salary into my 403b and my employer adds another 10%. That's 28% of my base salary I don't even miss that's getting invested and growing on average 7% to 10% a year (except this year, which sucks, but you just ride it out).
This year might not be great for stocks now, but you're picking up more shares at a lower cost. That means when things bounce back you'll be doing even better down the road. A drop in stocks is just a sale in my view so long as I'm still planning on staying invested for years to come. Glad to hear you took that hit in 2008 and made yourself better because of it.
Somebody needs to talk about how hard and painfull investing is... I often find myself regreting putting my money away and not having enough for fun an myself. yet i know the future value will be worth it.. but man, it hurts
I'm 6 for 9. I don't like risk, I don't set big goals, and I don't have multiple incomes (yet at least). I just want to be left alone and retire in a peaceful way.
I noticed my net worth has skyrocketed since I began keeping a balance sheet 3 years ago. I update it monthly. List all your assets and liabilities. I have graduate level accounting background so it's easy and fun but do your best. You have more assets than you realize. Once I started listing them all it gave me a goal to increase my asset accounts and decrease my liabilities. It also helps stomach stock swings. Even earlier this year when the market was down 20% my net worth increased every month, due to house increase and other increases, notably net income.
I've been doing the same thing by using the free Personal Capital app. It really does help to keep track of assets and liabilities. Since starting probably 4 years ago I'm now 100% debt free and enjoy watching my assets grow each month. Except for the recent market plunge. That hurts but seeing your assets all in one place and reminding yourself that you are taking the opportunity to buy low helps. I have $730k in assets, $0 liabilities. Steadily investing a large portionof each pay check. Ready to rocket when that market goes back up.
“Who would find joy in putting money away that can’t be touched for years and watching it fluctuate in value instead of spending it on something that can be enjoyed today?” I would. I do. "Chris Invests" is one of the best financial education channels that I've seen.
@@ChrisInvests It's true. The content of your videos are what I would have them be if I had a monetized RUclips channel. There is no need for another channel to get the information out.
I have leant to do most of these things and am still pretty broke ;) my investments are down 70-80% in the last 9 months but i am adding on the lows and being patient.. just wish i took more profit... its all a learning experience..
@@198746779838 Well you knpw the markets have taken a fair tumble ;) a decent amounts of grpwth stocks. Crypto miners like MARA went from a high of $83 to $5 :(
Hit all 9. As have multiple family members. I DRESS like I'm rich but it's cheap to do thanks to ebay and already knowing multiple REAL discount outlets. I kinda knew that I was heading to millionaire status soon ANYWAY.
That’s basically how I did it… keep investing even when markets down. Try to get to 100k and it takes off from there… you just need to play the long game.
Per usual, right on the money with all of these tips. Great selection and even better examples given. I naturally show 8 of the 9 signs (just lacking multiple income streams) and I've always felt very grateful that I possess many of the hallmarks of a wealth accumulator. It certainly beats not having any of these characteristics, and having to force oneself to adopt them. Keep up the good work! It truly does not take a genius nor a high-income earner to become wealthy, all it takes is easily-attained financial literacy and a measure of self-discipline.
Ha, i did something similar. On June 15th of this year closed on an apartment building total cost 782K Borrowed $580K at 4.75% Spent 202K of my own money
I will forever be indebted to you you've changed my whole life continue to preach about your name for the world to hear you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, thanks so much Mrs. Candice Stanley .
I find myself at a crossroads, uncertain whether to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio. I'm seeking advice on the best strategy to capitalize on this current market.
With the help of an investing advisor, I diversified my $400K portfolio across markets, and I was able to earn over $900k in net profit from high dividend yielding equities, ETFs, and bonds.
My consultant is Nicole Desiree Simon She has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. You can look her up online if you care for supervision.

How do you do, fellow millionaires?
Invest and wait......millionaire.
That should be a book.
I hope it's as easy as that, but just in case, I'm going to learn, and trade at the right times.

Glad you enjoyed it 😁
I'm too old to invest. If I see this when I was twenty old I will be a millionaire by now. But now at the age of 71 everything is too late.
😢
I recently made a big risk. Put a deposit on land right at the start of a recession, YOLO
Pay it off and hold for a long time and you will win

A millionaire nowadays is nothing. It's kind of like having a hundred grand twenty years ago.
😬
Agreed, a ‘millionaire lifestyle’ nowadays will take at least 3-5 million. 1 for home, 1 for investing and 1 for frivolity!
brings me peace knowing I share 8/9 of these, hopeful im on the right path..
