I view the no battery portion as a plus. I have an Ecoflow electric generator for camping. I don't need an onboard battery for everything. This is going to have a standard spot at home & go with us on trips to have some fun entertainment.

this thing, a steam deck, an usb modem stick and a powerbank and you got like the ultimate portable setup. although you are overstating its capabilidties quite a lot (yes, not for a projector but calling that gaming clip stutter free is a highly faar take )

Yeah, it is very suitable for dark rooms.

Hmmm, I feel that it can support a few.of them, but not really sure whether audio can go out for two pairs simultaneously.
The colour banding on white writing would drive me crazy. Also the over saturation of colours.

Both are good, but I think XGIMI have some really great projector implementations
I am somewhat in the same spot: whether to buy Xiaomi Mi Smart Projector 2 because has 100 more ANSI lumens and Netflix built in and Xiaomi has very good quality or to buy the XGIMI + maybe a tv dongle. Which one did you choose in the end and why ?

Sure - it can go up to 120 inches, and this is achieved by being 2-3 meters away from the wall.

How does 400 lumens hold up in daylight?
If the room is very bright - it looks very pale. Nothing less than 3000 will be acceptable. If you have curtains - then it is fine

Following up for others interested in buying. I've had this for a month. Overall it's a great value for the price. No issues to report whatsoever.
Whatever # lumens it actually is, in real life you can view the softer image during the daytime in the shadows of a room's wall. Brighter than that, you can't see an image.
The remote is fine but could be laid out more tactile and with a backlight.
The auto keystone works most of the time but occasionally gets it wrong.
The resolution is perfect for outdoor fun viewings or personal watching from a distance. It's not bad at all, but not 4k, which I think isn't justified for the big jump in price. Unless you're a very discriminating viewer and use this for a premium home theater, 720p is fine for most "fun" projector use cases and "1080p" is better but not +$200 better.
One thing I really like is that I've paired it to three different Bluetooth speakers in different rooms. The projector remembers the most recently paired speakers and auto connects. Additionally, when I connect to a different set of speakers, the projector wakes the speakers from being off to connect. Nice touch.
Does all the apps inbuilt or do I need to use fire stick ?

720p vs 1080p
Hi, what's with the bluish colour across the screen? Is it the white balance setting of your camera or the screen?

How does this projector compare to the halo+ which is better in your opinion?
The Halo+ has a battery, which I feel is a big bonus
The Halo+ battery can run 3 hours of video at 125 ANSI lumens (not very bright), and can't be charged via USB-C. The Mogo 2 Pro can be charged with a power bank and can run 3 hours at close to 400 ANSI lumens (plenty bright) with a 148wh power bank. Because the Mogo 2 Pro doesn't have an internal battery, it has space for larger slightly more powerful speakers and a passive radiator woofer. And the Halo+ battery will eventually lose capacity. If you think about it, not having an internal battery but being able to be powered by a USB power bank is a net advantage. And for most people it seems likely portable projectors will mostly be used indoors, where an internal battery is just dead space that could have otherwise been used for better sound. Internal batteries encourage design of lower-power projectors that have to operate at suboptimal brightness and lower speaker power to get three hours use on a charge.
Does this support 4:3 apect ratio?
If the video is 4 x 3 it can play it.

You can, but storage is quite.limited.

It is fine. Not great, but fine.
They're website states 2 hr battery. You said 'we do not count on an inbuilt battery'. Is there no internal battery in this model? And if there is, does it decrease brightness when not plugged in? Thank you.
There is no in-built battery for this model. As for the brightness - it can be adjusted, regardless of the power source

Sure - the dedicated BT speaker mode is such one that utilizes the speaker of the projector only, while the lamp is completely off.

I bought one and am absolutely loving it all the features and sound is amazing. I had a 600 inch screen on the side of my house and 9t looks so crisp and clear it was amazing
I think most companies have pretty average after sales support these days...
Quality is great. Never had the chance to check their support though.

Keystone was on all the time. Could be that there is a hardware issue with yours.
@@TechMishka I run through 2 x Mogo 2 Pro! Both suffered the same issues. Did you try 60 FPS video? You'll notice motion judder/stutter, and then turn off Keystone and see how smooth it became.
