I’m glad I found this!! With very little English, this man is able to convey what he is trying to demonstrate very clearly and efficiently. Thank you!!

His way of break-down the body mechanics behind movements fits my approach well. Truly enjoy his long discussion.

All these videos are so informative!! And the breakdowns are amazing. After attempting and applying what he teaches ....the improvement is mind blowing.

Dear Master, the more Isee , the more I know, how much I have lost!
One thing is still of the greatest value: Relax body, be awareness of the torso movemt, which comes as first, and then final technique to be performed. God Bless You. Paul,67

Grazie Alessandro per condividere questi favolosi video di grossi contenuti tecnici. Pratico lo Shotokan ma le basi fondamentali sono le stesse per tutto il Karate tradizionale.... Meraviglioso!

This is the real deal, and I’m glad that it is being freely shared. This style of movement and power generation is integral to most Okinawan Karate styles that are derived from Southern Chinese systems. Regrettably , it is often missing from systems that used to have it. I hope people watching this will study this video deeply, and try to catch what he is doing.
This man seems to be a great teacher, and to move as he does at his age is a testament to the effectiveness of his teaching for both joint health and power generation.

The body mechanics and concepts this man is teaching are used in some Southern Chinese styles. I feel that this way of moving and striking is getting more and more rare in most styles of Karate. I’m glad to see that he is passing this on because this is integral to the art. This video is a treasure. The way he moves at his age is a testament to the effectiveness of this method for not only producing tremendous power, but also for preserving the health of the joints

Yes, Soke Inoue Yoshimi ha managed to make best use of the ancient systems of Chi circulation,
    - Starting on the bakc from the main finger on the leg running inside upwards to roughly heart level then somehow interconnected they continue outward on the inside of arms, completeing a four hour circle , making our intestines and frontal body soft.
-Then the Chi goes on to flow from the small fingers on the hands outside their hand to head, and in the frontal head making a U turn back on head , downwards paralleling the backbone and separated along the side of the legs as far as down to the small fingers on the feet.
    - Again, completing a 4 hours course that is repeated 6 times during a 24hrs long day. Best regards and appreciation. Paul, 67, retired instructor of Karate.

It'd be good to have someone that understands exactly what he is saying that'll say it in everyday language. Maybe a black belt that understands every day English.

You should arrange in all these yoshimi videos an english subtext, it is your responsibility.

Yes, on e more idea, for discussion, that the activer attcs or actions ar e based on the whip action, whereas the Passiveaction,s , meeting the invoming force ar based on the wave, which like a telesdcope ar building force against the incoming wal, and, by some my Kung Fu resources, kkeping out against a force requieres less force. Thazt ios why, in my oppionion, Master Yoshimi is pushing his whole body against the ooi tsuki ofthe femalae opponent. Is there any reason in it or not?
Paul., 67, retired ad still admiring Mr. Soshimi´s legacy
