This winter when fishing is slower you should do a video showing off the gear you use and some of your favorite ways to rig baits. I would love to watch it, and I am sure others would find it helpful/interesting!

Noticed you had a bent out bottom eye on your rod after that fall, it's always worth doing a check of all your rod eyes after a drop or fall onto rock because the ceramic inserts can crack and result in a cut line. I've had it happen twice and lost a very good fish because of it so its better to check and straighten out any bent eyes than take the risk

Nick you should shimmy up to Shelbyville and see if the walleye are biting, and also December can be A good time to catch a Musky up there.Xtra slow retrieves while bouncing the lure along the bottom can yield good results.Jighead tipped with a crawler and swim baits usually get the job done,be prepared to loose a few lures cause if your not working your baits in the rocks then your not in walleye territory.

If you are interested I have had good luck with cheese add garlic mix well and keep cold I take pantyhose and cut in an squares and use a treble hook .. Mold cheese on hook. And then pantyhose hook hose on prongs. They can bite or suck on the bait but can't lose it and you might try freezing blood in those sm ice cube's use hose on that too. Hope you have lots of luck. Carp is good try putting it in a pressure cooker. It's like salmon patties mold BB and fry. Good luck.
