No, it should be ycos(theta), although you'll the same result bcoz the angle is 45deg. Anyways, h is given and he's solving for y.

Good day po sir, question lang po, paano malalaman ang "Hydrostatic Force" ay naka locate sa right or left side from the center of gravity sa circular plate or yung "Eccentricity" ay right side ba from the center of gravity or left side from the center of gravity. Thank you sirr :)

Locate mo lang ang centroid of the section considered from the vertical axis. Ang mag kakaroon lang nang eccentricity is yung vertical location of the centroid caused by the property of pressure in fluid.
