To my Miltary basic guide for northgard, or Northbasics military!
In this video I#m trying to cover all the things i know about army and military in northgard.
I hope that i managed to cover everything , but i know thats hard achieve witch such a broad topic.

I just finished the campaign and realized that theres a unit called WARCHIEF. OMG good to know.
Yup, Kaija is actually a "her" :)
I have the game in french and in my language there is a distinction between male and female bears. A male bear is called "Ours" and a female bear is called "Ourse". In my game, "Kaija, The Armored Bear" is "Kaija, l'Ourse Cuirassée", so you were right, it's a "her" haha.
Discovered this game a week ago and your videos just after, thanks for all the strats and stuff I learned from you !

The constant clicking and your units grunting is SUPER distracting to what you're saying...
In live-gameplays it is fairly deep in my nature and often times also required to micro correctly, but in newer tutorials i use a whole different production process anyway :P

Video is good but the constant unwanted camera movement makes me sick! Do you suffer from some must-click disease ?
Sometimes my axe throwers don't attack the enemy, is this a known bug?
I don't really know what problem you mean is*, If you mean the delayed damage casued through lag, this problem is going to be solved when the dedicated servers get released.
Then could it be that you missclick when you want to attack, so the axethrowers will first run to the position where you clicked, and will start attacking after they reached the position ( like in other rts)
Or you mean the 0,8sec attack delay every unit has after stepping on a tile.
This were implemented because everyone were "Tiledancing" With axethrowers in the earlier days like you can see in older videos from me or other players, and the community decided, that they don't want that in the game ;)

How do u get a war chief. Stupid question but idk....
You can get it at your "Military basic buildings" what are bascially the warcamps and skirmisher camps (usually the warcamp). From my perspective it's rather stupid to not put that info in a tutorial, then asking a question about it ;D

@@Zeus11Nova13 Hey! You can summon it for 200gold and 5 iron in your warcamp, there is an icon that you can click if you have the required ressources to spawn it without any waiting time :)

Hey know this may sound silly how do I get axe throws and other military troops just started play northgarde I have only been able to build the first war camp
after you build the warcamp you can build an axethrower and shieldbearer camps
Do the warrior automatically charge or is that a button you have to command them to do? I play Switch.
They should charge automatically as soon as the other unit is in charge range, i often spamclick on a unit so they all focus a unit in the middle of the pack, so the might be able to block a few units and get another hit in, but it doesnt let them run faster and they would also hunt and charge as soon as they can if you just send them into a tile.
if theres not a something else close in their rankge (for exaple a neutral creature) then they will ofc not always hunt the army of opponent but rather just chrage at the closest non friendly unit, then clicking the other army would be required so they actually attack them.
Why cant i see other caps for my warband?
I know this is an old video, but daaang, this could have been 4 minutes long without all the rambling. Also, the fidgety clicking and panning the screen was driving me crazy!

Can you only build warrior halls on certain tiles? I am on the 2nd level and the whole time i only had 2 warriors to my name 😑
You can only build 1 warcamp per tile, but you can build for example a warcamp and a shield bearer camp on the same tile and every military building will give you +2 warband(except for kraken and Ox)
@@CrazyDentist Does that also apply to the story mode? Cause i notice the only tile i can build a warcamp/scout camp is my beginning tile that has town hall. Thanks for the response.
@@jackdempsey3677 I can't really remember if there were a mission that would make you unable to build more warcamps, your just sometimes not able to build a few types of buildings in the ealier missions.
