For the raised swoosh I wonder if you could deconstruct from the inside of the shoe and put a swoosh shaped piece of fabric there... I know these are dead stock and being done for your friend..but just an idea.. or you could do some trickery with and airbrush and create a faint shadow to give the impression of a raised swoosh. Great video!

How come UV light alone can make the tongue back to white without the solution?
The UV light can help white sneakers by removing the yellowing. You can not apply oxidation Soultions on the upper material of sneakers.
