Hi, I like magDK the most for soloing, but maybe this is because he is my main. MagSorc, MagPlar and MagDen may be even better for it, but it depends on your preferences.

This is a build for a solo play, which does not maximize damage output, but is a lot about survibility. I have just tried trial dummy and I hit 65k on it with a skill set-up purely focusing on damage (I did not hit more, because I am very bad at skill weaving and I do not have trial sets and new mythics). When you play solo, you do not get all those buffs provided by trial dummy or your group, so your damage is much lower.

Hi, thanks! The purple orb is a result of Dark Convergence set. It pulls enemies, stuns them and does damage to them. It is quite a new set in ESO.
