- [Rather Simple] How to fold Henry's Flicker Boomerang and origami Photo Frame which my student, Henry, designed on his own and taught me as part of his tutoring session with me. I really like how the four flaps wrap around the corners of the square and tuck nicely into pockets, making it a good aerodynamic flicker. It also serves as a double sided picture frame, and, with the extra weight of a picture or two, it will probably fly a little better too! When you fold it in half in both directions it spins great on a smooth surface.
One more cool thing about the model is that you can push in the sides of the square to shape the model into a cool-looking container!
Kudos and thanks to Henry for designing and showing me how to fold this simple and awesome origami model. As you see in the video he also did an excellent job demoing the model, including two perfect boomerang flicks and an impressive flick across the room toward his webcam.

Awesome model ! Can you do a tutorial on how to make diagrams on Macromedia Freehand? There are many inkscape tutorials all over youtube but freehand has been a industry standard (both in origami and graphic desgin) and the diagrams that you made with freehand in the BARF newsletters and your 2 books were phenomenal! I kindly request you to make a tutorial on diagramming :)

Hi Santhosh, Thank you for the request. Honestly, I haven't done any diagramming for the last 13 years! My last two books were compilations of diagrams that I made between 2000 and 2010 and my first book was from diagrams 1994 - 1999. I probably still have enough unpublished pages to fill another couple of books if I ever get my act together and do it! Since 2011 my origami focus pretty much revolves around my RUclips channel. If you have any specific how-to questions about diagramming with Freehand, perhaps I could answer them here.

Have you made the Flasher Supreme? The Flasher Big Bang is the same pattern as the Flasher Supreme, only it's from a 32X32 grid instead of a 16X16 grid.

The temperature is very high over here
How about folding flashers? That way the flasher can collapse small and fit in you pocket. Perhaps you could glue a popsicle stick to the center of the flasher so that you can have a more sturdy handle.
