I've noticed on my dls111 that the dust port gets clogged easily when cutting framing or wet timber. It's because it has to turn right then into a small hose to be collected.
In my industry I have no use for a wood cutting saw/circular saws but when I see that notification from RUclips telling me that tools &, stuff have uploaded a video I'm here regardless. I never would have thought I would get so much satisfaction from watching a guy review tools and stuff. Strangely enough one positive I have gained from this pandemic is spending more time on RUclips and thus coming across your channel. You could probably review a dishwasher and it'd still be mint.
I don't know if that is just specific to other countries but the UK models on the majority of Makita tools, the arbour does 20 and 30mm bore....you simply take the arbour off and turn it around, one side is 20mm the other side is 30mm bore
I checked that before I used the one from the circ saw. The one on the 40v is 30mm and 25.4mm in this part of the world. So to get the 20mm I had to use the circ saw one. Thanks for watching.
We're getting the 8-1/2" version this month. GSL02Z. A bit weird really. The big launch was all about commercial concrete and residential (stick framing). Wouldn't that demand a 10" SCMS? I won't be seeing the brad nailer nor a small sidewinder for the sake of laborers and framers and yet, they start with 8-1/2"? Who does that even serve? Go big or go itty bitty. Naye? Ok, tbh, 8-1/2" is the perfect SCMS size for me, but surely I'm a weirdo.

Thanks. Hahaha I did actually do a review of a bosch dishwasher but never uploaded it.
Hello, I was just wondering what’s the maximum size blade you can put in that saw 235mm?
Hi can you tell me the height of tool when in the locked down position please.
Probably too late for you, but the measurement is 0pretty close to 410mm
GOOD DAY, PLEASE PROMPT, WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF CUTTING BOARDS WITH A THICKNESS OF 40MM IF IT IS SUPPLIED TO THESE 40MM?
so if u buy a blade for metal , can u cut metal with this machine? ( never had a mitter saw )
You will destroy this saw cutting metal with it.
@@BuildsStuff thx for replying!
I haven't seen anyone address whether the saw has detents for cutting crown on the flats.
All detents on this saw are listed in my full review.
@@BuildsStuff Thanks! I saw the miter detents but must have missed a list of detents for the bevel?
There are no detents on the bevels. The 36v saws have them but not this one.
@@BuildsStuff Okay. Thanks!

This could cut a whole frame of stick no problem you got no clue about the industry obviously
I wonder if you’d be better off without the large dust port. Kind of absurd though.
if you remove the black depth plate with screw driver, i think it will work。
