I feel like MUNA is the modern version of the Cranberries
Not really. The Cranberries were more folk-rock bordering on punk, Muna is more alternative+electro+pop
The only similarity between MUNA and Cranberries is the Irish accent Dolores and Katie share. The sound difference in the bands is huge, but these women are deeply inspired in The Cranberries. In my perception of instrumentals, when I listen to MUNA I fill vibes of artists like Imogen Heap, HAIM, Chvrches, The 1975, The Japanese House, Flawes, ARIZONA, Fickle Friends and Paramore (After Laughter).
