I bought these only because of the secure fit which I almost never find in other earbuds. For those who want to keep these, or have the QC2, a good work around to eliminate the disconnection issue is to delete the app from your phone. You can also make all the adjustments in the settings of the app, delete it, and the buds will retain the changes. I’ve had almost no audio drop outs/disconnection issues after I’ve done this and I’m in NYC and travel the subway all the time.

I had the Sonys 4, Senheiser MTW3, Sound Core Liberty Pros, Jabra Elite 10, and now the QC Ultras. When I initially heard to Kanye West's Sin City, these straight up made me smile. The ANC on the Bose ultras is the best I've ever had, and the sound quality is excellent overall. The app isn't as adjustable as some others, but it's still really useful and direct. After over two weeks with these, there have been no issues at all. I can understand why some may believe these are pricey considering what they provide, but in all honesty, the problems individuals are facing are the result of laziness. First, multipoint; I don't really care because I'm not that lazy to relocate my fingertip tips and attach them to a different device. I don't really care about wireless charging either; I'm not that lazy to shift my hands and plug things in. The $300 price tag is attributed to the branding, sound quality, and ANC. The only thing about the QC2 that I can comprehend are the connectivity problems; however, a family member who has one for over a year says she loves it and has never had any connectivity problems.

@@Arno641 i prefer the bose over any of the ones i mentioned by a mile. The sound quality is good i really enjoy them, but senheisers might get the edge on it since it got more customizable settings. But the bose are amazing with hip hop rap music. The bose are really punchy. And the immersive sound i don’t use it but airpods pro are better , the bose are kinda gimmicky with sound that don’t support the spacial audio. And finally i would not recommend senheisers because of the only reason that the left earbud broke down on me and its a common thing on senheisers according to reviews on websites.

I’m total agreement with you in this video. I’m actually annoyed because I have QC2 last year and I use foam mesh ear tip for better seal and increase bass. The fact this came out year later is very annoying. But the connection issue on the QC2 is still there. and Bose cannot call themselves Ultra and price it at 300 bucks it’s BS when the problem is still there and put out a product that’s pretty much the same a year later. No wireless charging and no Multipoint it’s not an upgrade from QC2. This should be a firmware update for the QC2 and save those colors when Bose step up and actually do a upgrade and put in the wireless charging, fix your connection issues and multipoint for QC3

Other RUclips reviewers use actual listening equipment that transfers the real sound of the earbuds to their RUclips videos so that viewers can compare sound quality side by side. After the update, I have had ZERO connectivity issues. I have not lost a signal connection once. I have had NO "cutout" issues.
    1. I agree with your criticism of lack of multipoint connectivity. It is a glaring issue with these earbuds.
    2. These earbuds DO have IPX4 water resistance. What the hell do you want? Are you really too stupid to take off your earbuds in a heavy rainstorm and put them in their case? These are not military-grade earbuds designed for special force units. Geez!
    3. You can turn off the voice prompts in the app if you don't like them. Do your homework before you put out a review! I DO like hearing which of the three sound modes I am in because with touch controls, it confirms that I am where I want to be.
A lot of your criticisms are petty and uneducated. I don't doubt that they are your honest feelings, but vomiting out inaccurate complaints about these excellent earbuds is a disservice to your audience. Further, I am betting that the alternative earbuds you suggest are nowhere near the quality of the Bose QC II Ultra earbuds. If they were, they would be all over RUclips in reviews. There are a plethora of cheap earbud alternative reviews, and I have not heard of these earbuds anywhere.

This DEFECT alone would drive me crazy! The Sony XM5's moronic ergonomics alone disqualify them from being "superior." Further, MULTIPLE reviewers have commented that the in-ear foam plugs on the XM5s is not secure and becomes uncomfortable fairly quickly. So basically, they are a pain in the ass to use lol.
      2. Technics AZ80. Reviews have been very good for these earbuds but most reviewers state that the ANC, audio quality and fit comfort of the earbuds is not quite as good as the Bose QC Ultra earbuds. They do have multipoint connection which is a plus and they do have a lot of customization. So, based on reviews, they are competitive with the Bose Ultra earbuds but not even close to being "superior."
      3. Status Between 3ANC. Nobody has even heard of these earbuds and if they were that good, they would be all over the internet and they are not. Apparently you are delusional or you are being paid to push them on your subscribers. Clearly, they are not "superior." No one agrees with you.
