I remember reading somewhere that the author said, if lil sis didn't stop Metal Bat - Garou would have been killed by that swing 😅 Keep this up, I enjoy watching your videos. I would recommend Jojo's Bizarre Adventure as next anime to go through, i know you have seen the openings and endings, but I am not sure if you plan to go through the anime itself - I am sure you will enjoy it!

Drive Knight told Genos to mind him. Him turning up only after Boros was gone to get alien tech for weaponry (for peace he says) wasn't a good look.

Though not with anger so much as spirit. Not sure about regen (or even his stamina), but his other stats (speed, toughness and power) seem to increase as he takes a beating. He's probably up there with serious Amai if given time to pump up enough. Unknown, really.

Really reluctant to use his former master's martial art (turning the power of enemy's back against them).

As noted, he promised his little sister not to be violent in front of her. That blow on the undefended head of Garou would have been lethal.

Monster Association is a response to humans forming a group (Hero Association) to fight them.

Unlike the lower A ranks who went, he has no interest in martial arts or the prize pool. A1 is an ass, but he's genuine about his 'justice' (ruthless killing of 'evil'). That is his passion. The idol work is an oddity that is harder to explain (has to wait).

Garou respected the sister not just because of his heart, but because if she hadn't called out to Metal Bat, he would have crushed Garou. It's payback for essentially, though unintentionally, saving his life. Look at the force from the wind of Metal Bat's attack even though it stopped. All that power, had it hit garou with his guard down, would have left him as a splatter.
Basically, if she hadn't ended the fight, Metal Bat would have *ended* the fight.

You're gonna wanna start reading the manga once you finish season 2, we ain't seeing the end of the Monster Association arc til like season 5.
I get mad when this episode was release, cause i read the manga, and in manga that fight is impressive, too superior :c

You do know there are some brief tail-enders after the closing credits for most of the episodes, right? Because it seems like you might just be cutting it off as soon as you see the credits start playing. Yes, there are a few that don't have them, but probably about 3/4 of the episodes (from both seasons) do. It's always a good idea to check.
In this particular episode, the "big fight" they're supposedly leading up to all happens in the brief tail-ender. That's the joke.
Remember them special episodes man, they're funny as hell.
Considering metal bat can take insane amounts of punishment from giant monsters and super powerful fighter like garou, yet his little sister managed to knock him out instantly with a single tap... I'd say his little sis is actually a super powerful hero to-be.
His fighting spirit and guard was down, so she was just suffering from being a beat-up dude clocked in the back of the head.

Tired or not, fighting spirit or not. No way a normal 6 year old girl would knock out a normal fully grown man, let alone an S class hero whose power is basically taking massive amounts of damage

Since the way a lot of hero's abilities work are strange, I personally like to believe that Metal Bat's durability and strength are tied to his fighting spirit more directly than some people may believe. Because he loves his sister so much and has no malice towards her, his defense against her is 0%, so being in that battered and injured state from fighting the monsters and Garou, her little punch was enough to take him out because his defense is as strong as a normal human against her even if he would have survived more big blows from monsters/Garou with those injuries, and a normal human like you or me would have gotten knocked out by a child's punch in that near-death physical state too.
That's just what I like to think though.

4:35 the reason garou my favorite in opm...yeah he wants to be a monster but he don't want help from them.....if you're strong garou just wants to fight he don't care who it is we would see way more of that in season 3 if it ever gets animated 🥲
Garou knows how this world works. The same way crab man, lizard man and even Saitama turned into who they are today. The more you want something the more you turn into it
