OK, got to say a few things. My first mc was a 1963 Honda Hawk (250cc) that was exactly the same as the Super Hawk, save for the bump in engine size. The Super version didn't come along until 1964. I also owned a CB 450, but those were NEVER called 'black bombers' - they were called Condors. I drove that bike for about 15 - 20kk miles but scored a piston on a long trip. Honed the cylinders, put in new rings and traded it in for a BSA Lightning - WORST in reliability bike I've ever owned! (Should have bought another Japanese bike!) Also owned a Yamaha SR500 and loved it! Super maneuverable on the street in traffic and great on trails as well.

Die CB500 war etwas zierlicher wie die CB750. Die Zylinder waren senkrecht und nicht nach vorne geneigt. Das Teil sah einfach nur geil aus.
