I listened to this for the first time in early 2024, and was blown away by the quality of the music and the sheer amount of good songs they have. And then I learned that they have not made a new song in a few years.
For some reason that image of Papa G fading into the light is so powerful to me idk. Damnit this song is so beautifully bittersweet. One of their best. Love this band.
Every time I think your music can't possibly get any better you continue to surprise me. This song is a new level of musical genius and I could not be more stoked for the new album. Darren leaving has been a serious blow but I'm rooting for you guys to pull through
MuteMath is so creative and unique it's scary. Even without Darren going forward I cannot wait to hear what they come up with. Great job guys! Loving what I'm hearing so far.
I bought tickets for the Birmingham date to celebrate my 20th birthday and I couldn't be more excited. When I heard Colony House was one of the openers, I almost passed out from joy. I love you guys so much and I'm so excited to see you guys in less than a month!
I hate that all the actually talented artists doesn't get noticed and all the garbage artist are getting popular. You deserve so much more attention. You guys are awesome! So happy that I discovered your music. It's really unique and different and I love it. Definitely listening to more of your stuff.
I.can't.stop.listening. I love the whole album Play Dead and have a few favorite tracks - this being the one of them currently on repeat. Love the visuals too!!!
MUTEMATH. You continually inspire me with everything you do. You just get better and better, is there no end to your creativity?! Fan forever, never give up!
I wish I could relive all of that concert at the observatory in Santa Ana. You guys know how to play and picked great openers! Romes and Colony House were great, the audience loved it all!
If Mute Math reads these comments... all I gotta say is you guys absolutely deserve a Grammy for your music. I hope you guys keep playing once the tour is over. I think you're the only band that has gotten consistently better with EVERY Album you've put out
Listening to this on my shitty head phones because my dog ate my good ones and I'm not disappointed at all. I can't wait to play this on my computer tomorrow to hear all the layers. You guys never cease to amaze.
Guys you are incredible, You are only band where I can be sure when I play a new song of yours it will be awesome and I do not need to worry. :) Please last forever !
MuteMath continues to roll on. No one misses DK more than me. When I see them in St. Louis in October, it will be my 9th MM show in the 9th different city. That said, he made the choice to leave. I'll miss seeing his drumming at the show, but Hutch is no slouch of a drummer and I hope people give him a chance. Paul is the heartbeat of MuteMath. Todd has been around for several years now. I don't see anyone lamenting the fact Greg is gone. Roy will be missed on the live shows, but Jonathan should fill in nicely. I hope MuteMath continues to make music and tour for many years to come. Paul, Todd, Jonathan, and Hutch. I love you guys and can't wait to see you on Oct. 24th.
Darren King is producing an album by Relient K frontman Matthew Thiessen. Should be interesting that he is a producer now. Also, I am excited to hear Matt's solo album.
You still amaze me. All your songs and albums cover such a deep and rich spectre of emotions, and pretty much every song sounds wonderful, and has a good lyrics. I mean.. I love it, I love the band, I love the songs, I love that I just found out about you from Need For Speed, the one I haven't played but just managed to check out the soundtrack. Oh wow. Waiting for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a great day.
Mutemath stop it man. Stop it. This is getting ridiculous. This song destroys anything on the radio by a long stretch. Paul you're a lyrical genius. If ice cream had a sound, well, here we are. Let it consume your ears.
no freakin doubt bro!. been listening since Earthsuit. no one can touch these guys except MAYBE the players that Michael Jackson had with him over the years, IMO.
Yeeees!!! Woow! 👍👍👌👏👏👏
My favorite mutemath song so far!
absolute gem.
I listened to this for the first time in early 2024, and was blown away by the quality of the music and the sheer amount of good songs they have. And then I learned that they have not made a new song in a few years.
You guys are literally too talented for this world

MuteMath is so creative and unique it's scary. Even without Darren going forward I cannot wait to hear what they come up with. Great job guys! Loving what I'm hearing so far.

MUTEMATH. You continually inspire me with everything you do. You just get better and better, is there no end to your creativity?! Fan forever, never give up!
I'm gonna need to call Life Alert for this one when I see it live.
It sounds like a Jamiroquai song. Very good !
jrmbordeaux exactly what I thought! The beginning. I don't mind since I love both!
jrmbordeaux
I was thinking the same.
I kinda wish this was the fist single. Such a groovy track!
Amazing song for what seems to be an already amazing album!
I wish I could relive all of that concert at the observatory in Santa Ana. You guys know how to play and picked great openers! Romes and Colony House were great, the audience loved it all!

deltarazorback870 the new guys will do great, but it's like the nucleus is changing.
Darren King is producing an album by Relient K frontman Matthew Thiessen. Should be interesting that he is a producer now.

That's what i call an unique sound. Such a great band!
@Mutemath: If you need an opening act for a show in germany, please let us know :D
If we all have the fever and we try to break it... Do we Break The Same?
No we break the spell!

The production of the music and the production of the video are so cool like I cant even understand what I'm seeing happen but it's so lovely

This is so good!! So stylish and groovy! The chorus sounds a lot like In The Water by Gawvi though. But I really hope this song goes far!
My GOD THIS SHIT IS GOOOOOD! That GROOOVE!
Mutemath stop it man. Stop it. This is getting ridiculous. This song destroys anything on the radio by a long stretch. Paul you're a lyrical genius. If ice cream had a sound, well, here we are. Let it consume your ears.
Daniel Ponik poetic my man
yeah but it dosent matter DK is gone
DK didn't make or break this band.. Hutch is the best we could ask for to replace him.
no freakin doubt bro!. been listening since Earthsuit. no one can touch these guys except MAYBE the players that Michael Jackson had with him over the years, IMO.
Paul has had many years with hutch. he would not be there if paul didn't think he could cut it!.
the instrumental feels like it could've come from Tame Impala's album Currents. Love. This. So. Fucking. Much!!
ciao_fiv Bro.. totally! If Paul and Kevin ever collaborated .. god help us all
Worth listening to again, alright, and now I feel like dancing to it sometime! :D
