Jason Bouphasavanh Not really. That’s a New Yorker transplant thing. 😂 My whole family is Italian and we all sound more or less like Halsey. I believe her mom sounds like her impression, but I have a feeling she was influenced a lot by the NY accent. I think her mom is from Linden, which is right across the river from Staten Island, and their accent is very distinct.
