Foltynewicz is 1-3 with a 5.67 era in 2019 and he is 37-38 with a career 4.30 era. Do you call that good? His only great year was in 2018. I’m not trying to criticize him, I respect all MLB players because it is very hard to get to the MLB, but is Foltynewicz that good?

It’s Stanton for me because he can’t field, strikes out way too much, doesn’t hit for average, and is always hurt. Not worth all that money. His MVP year was probably his only great year.

A. Overpaid
B. Talked about as one of the best in their position
Urshela makes nothing, and no one talks about as a top 3rd baseman in the league. He's simply a man making the most of his opportunity and he's doing a damn good job filling in for miguel andujar. So I'm sorry, but to me, Gio Urshela does not qualify as being overrated.

Great video and I love the baseball content so keep it up you're doing great! My only gripe is that you seemed to only focus on players who are lacking good AB's this season. Some players might seem "overrated" because they are struggling at the plate but are in the lineup because of the incredible defense that they provide. Hitting is a large aspect of the game yes, however, some teams don't need a guy who's always red hot at the plate but is solid in the field. Just my opinion on the way you did the rankings but hey its your video and you made it very well.
I watched this when it first came out and is now I'm watching it the morning after the Yankees just swept the twins in the ALDS Gio urshela is the starting 3rd baseman he is still hot and everything has worked out fine.

@@tazecamo ik and I really do like Andujar and if he can stay healthy and play much better defense he probably will be the starting 3rd baseman but if he can't improve his fielding Urshela will probably still be the starting 3rd baseman but I do think the Yankee should put him at DH until he improves his Fielding or just keep him at DH because he can hit really well but his Fielding is not good so that's why I think rn Urshela should start over him

This year hes great but last year he was in in AAA. Hes not that good overall. Hot now but id be shocked if he finished the year above .300. Time will tell.

Hey Marc, I see where you are coming from with Gio Urshela. We Yankees fans know that he isn't better than andujar and trust me, If I had a choice, a healthy Miguel andujar would play over Gio any day. I just can't call him overrated as a player. Sure the guy hasn't done anything his whole career, I get that. We are just appreciating how well he is doing and he is definitely having a moment right now. He's hitting .330 and it has been a 2 month ordeal. The guy has been extremely clutch and if anything we are underrating his value he has on the team right now. He's also got an excellent glove at third base and brings great energy to the field. If I were to pick a candidate for overrated on the Yankees, it would be CHAD GREEN haha

As a Cardinal fan, I can just say Carp is just experiencing the unfortunate case of age. His rookie year and younger years he was an absolute beast but he’s in his retirement years. He’s one of my favorites and it sucks seeing him play like this

I understand Folty had a slow start this season, but it's important to remember he's coming off injury from spring training, and he had to rehab in triple A before returning to the bigs a while after the season already started. Also, remember he's very young still, so you would expect that his '18 season would be more of a trend and less of a one off, as this guy is still developing, yet to reach his prime form. Also, more recently he's had a couple better starts.
Enrique Hernandez is not overrated! But then again, not many people on the Dodgers under perform, so you gotta choose someone.

In 2016 at the same date Votto had a near identical stat line and was as you said just looking like he forgot how to hit, then in the second half of the year he had one of if not the best half year of baseball ever.
